Jen Shah shared a telling message on her Twitter page days ago as swirling rumors claimed she may be fired ahead of the potential fourth season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Before shading Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Tamra Judge over claims she made on her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, of a confrontation between her and Andy Cohen at a BravoCon party earlier this month, Jen said she had “a lot to say” and called for “equality.”
“YOU WILL NOT TAKE MY VOICE! I have a lot to say, lies to correct, and people to put in their place,” Jen declared on October 21, adding hashtags for “coming soon,” “Bravo TV,” “RHOSLC,” “equality,” and “people of color.”
During a panel event at BravoCon, Andy suggested Jen would no longer be a part of the RHOSLC cast due to the guilty plea she entered in July amid claims of a years-long telemarketing scheme targeting the elderly.
“Once we wrapped [season three and] she pled guilty, I think that was kind of, unfortunately, the end of, you know, the engagement there,” he said.
A short time later, Jen responded to a fan on Twitter who insinuated the decision was rooted in racism.
“Andy announced that [Jen Shah] no longer works for Bravo but [Teresa Giudice] and her ex-husband [Joe Giudice] literally got a spin-off when they did a crime,” the fan tweeted. “At what point do we stop letting the double standards for poc [people of color] go on? #WhitePrivilege”
“That’s a great question…” Jen replied.
Also on Twitter, Jen reacted to a fan accusing Tamra of lying about her interaction with Andy at the BravoCon party.
“[Tamra Judge] you look foolish saying all of this when [Andy Cohen] said on [Radio Andy] they had a fabulous conversation on the rooftop… There was no confrontation so you would want to stop lying at this point girl… YOU LOOK PRESSED!!!” the fan wrote.
“That part,” Jen agreed.
During an episode of her podcast last week, Tamra claimed to have seen Jen confronting Andy after noting that the RHOSLC cast member said she was “not going to jail.”
“It looked like it was a very tense conversation, and then I didn’t see her after that,” she shared.
But after the host of the YouTube series Up and Adam said he attended a party with the Real Housewives stars and that Jen did not say she was innocent, a fan accused Tamra of lying and said the RHOC star’s comments against Jen could cost her “years of her life at her sentencing.”
Then, in a second tweet, the same person corrected themselves, noting that there were two different events and saying that judging by “Tamra’s video and the picture Adam posted,” they were at different locations.
“It sounds like he is saying he was there at the time Tamra was speaking about, why bring up being THERE if he wasn’t?” they asked with their second statement.
“Thank you,” Tamra responded.
Thank you. 💕
