Kelly Dodd is reportedly planning to file for full custody of her 16-year-old daughter, Jolie, amid a messy feud with her ex-husband, Michael Dodd, and his girlfriend, Laura White, who she previously applauded as an “amazing step mom.”
After the Real Housewives of Orange County alum took to her Instagram page on Monday to put Michael on blast, claiming he “doesn’t care about his own kid” and suggesting he’d been abusive to both her and her husband, Rick Leventhal, Kelly has allegedly reached her breaking point with his “disparaging” messages.
“She’s been quiet for years for her daughter,” an insider spilled to Radar Online on November 8.
But after receiving “harassing” texts from Michael and Laura, who have been “coming after” her for a while, Kelly is “tired of the dysfunction.”
“Every time they talk, there’s name-calling,” a second source revealed, adding that Michael has allegedly also been “bullying” Rick.
According to the report, Laura has been faced with legal drama in the past, including a battery case in 2018 and a recent eviction lawsuit. However, both of those cases have since been dismissed.
In her post on Instagram on Monday, Kelly shared a series of messages, reportedly from Michael, along with the caption, “My Ex husband is a Real winner!! HERE IS THE EVIDENCE!! Doesn’t care about his own kid.”
In the texts, Michael, who currently shares joint custody with his ex-wife, allegedly called Kelly a “f-cking stupid b-tch,” a “f-cking stupid piece of sh-t,” and a “wh-re.”
In the post, Kelly explained that Michael had supposedly left Jolie to “fend for herself” on a school night after she went out of town — even though he reportedly agreed to take care of the child.
“I gave you the courtesy to let you know I’m out of town. You couldn’t give me the same courtesy? What the f-ck is wrong with you?” Kelly asked Michael after he allegedly left town as well.
Although Jolie was able to remain at Kelly’s house with one of the former RHOC cast member‘s friends, who graciously agreed to care for her until Kelly returned home, the insider said Kelly is concerned.
“She’s worried about her daughter,” an insider said.
