Teresa Giudice opened up about her relationships with Dina Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita while appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday night.
Before opening up about her relationships with Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga‘s children and revealing if she’s open to a future reconciliation with Caroline Manzo, Teresa addressed rumors of a potential falling out with Dina as Andy Cohen questioned her about whether Jacqueline coming out as “anti-Melissa” is what prompted their five-hour lunch date in Las Vegas.
“No. That’s not true. I texted [Dina] today,” Teresa confirmed of her relationship with her former RHONJ castmate, who “liked” a post slamming her podcast co-host Melissa Pfeister days ago, on the February 14 episode of WWHL.
According to Teresa, her reunion with Jacqueline was born out of the fact that she now has an autistic stepson named Nicholas.
“We both have Nicholases. My stepson’s Nicholas, and they both have autism. So she’s been on my mind a lot and I was going to Vegas to see Bruno Mars and so [I thought], ‘Let me reach out to her,’” Teresa explained.
And while Andy suspected Jacqueline’s statements against Melissa may have had something to do with it, Teresa initially denied it.
“That didn’t have to do with it, but then I was just like,” Teresa began before admitting, “That was also, also that. But I really have been thinking about her a lot because it’s crazy because we do both have Nicholases now.”
Then, after Andy noted that the ladies used to hate each other, Teresa said, “I know, but time heals all wounds. It really does.”
Later on Wednesday, a fan questioned Teresa about her kids’ relationships with the Gorgas’ children.
“Um, unfortunately, I mean, I think they text and they communicate on social media but that’s all I know. I guess you would have to ask both of them more so,” Teresa explained on the WWHL: After Show.
As for her own communication with them, Teresa added, “I text them for their birthdays and that’s it. The last time I sent Joey a birthday gift, it was his birthday in April, that was the last time. I know the next birthday is, Antonia’s will be in August.”
After Andy pointed out that April is before August, Teresa confirmed her nieces and nephews’ birthdays were in “April, August, and July,” and she said she’d love to welcome niece Antonia Gorga into her home.
“I would love for Antonia to come over. She has her driver’s license. [Milania Giudice] told her to come over. And Milania has her driver’s license. They can see each other anytime they want. I would love that,” Teresa stated. “My girls see [Joe Giudice]’s family all the time. We take them on vacation with us, my nieces, everything.”
Although Teresa and her family keep in touch with her ex’s family, she doesn’t think any of the Giudices attended her and Luis Ruelas‘ wedding last August.
“I don’t think so. I stay in touch with some of them but I didn’t invite them to the wedding,” she revealed.
At that point, Andy mentioned how different Luis is from Joe Giudice.
“I know… This is my soulmate. He really is. He is. This is so me,” Teresa replied.
Also on the live broadcast of WWHL, Teresa confirmed she will not be sitting down for a lunch date with Caroline anytime soon, saying the two of them are “gonna leave that the way it is” although she “[wishes] her well.” Plus, her husband Luis played a game in which he was asked to match his male RHONJ castmates with their superlative.
While Luis couldn’t choose between Dolores Catania‘s boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, and Jennifer Aydin‘s husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, when asked who Teresa likes best, he gave several honors to Joe Gorga, including “most whipped,” “least welcoming,” and “biggest ego.”
