Jennifer Aydin found Margaret Josephs‘ behavior on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey to be “hypocritical.”
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live after the show, Jennifer shared her thoughts on the “suspect” reunion between Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice, shaded Margaret for talking trash behind people’s backs, and dished on her relationship with Melissa Gorga after first revealing she found it “hypocritical” that Margaret criticized her for insulting Rachel Fuda‘s nose job after doing the same to her.
“100 percent. 100 percent,” Jennifer confirmed on the February 28 episode of WWHL. “She’s like caka-lacking in the corner, ‘That’s not nice.’ Well, you’re not nice.”
And when asked if she or Rachel had a better nose job, Jennifer replied, “[Rachel]’s a glamorous Tim Burton,” signaling to a comment previously made by Margaret, who said the RHONJ newbie looked like a character in one of Tim Burton’s movies.
As for Gorga and Giudice’s meeting in the Bahamas, Jennifer admitted, “I just felt it was very suspect, the whole thing was just very awkward. It’s like, you’ve been bashing him for so long and now you’re hugging him.”
“They’ve been bashing each other,” host Andy Cohen clarified.
“They’ve been bashing each other, 100 percent,” Jennifer agreed. “And now it’s all of the sudden brushed under the rug? Did I miss something? So I just felt it was very suspect.”
Although many believe Jennifer isn’t friendly with Melissa because of her closeness to Teresa Giudice, Jennifer said her issues with Melissa have nothing to do with Teresa.
She then defended the comment Teresa made about her “chosen family” on Tuesday’s RHONJ.
“I didn’t think it was a personal dig towards everybody,” Jennifer stated. “I think she was just enjoying the people that were there for her, and she had heard somebody make a speech, and it really resonated with her so she used it, and I thought it was beautiful.”
While Jennifer is staunchly Team Teresa, a WWHL poll showed that the audience is not. In fact, after questioning viewers about whether they sided with Melissa and Joe, or Teresa and Luis Ruelas, 73% chose the Gorgas.
“I hate these shady polls, Andy,” Jennifer said in response.
During a game, which required Jennifer to pick between Margaret and Dolores Catania, Jennifer revealed “Margaret” talks the most crap behind people’s backs and named Dolores as the “more iconic” castmate.
Then, when asked whose ego has gotten bigger since joining the show, Jennifer exclaimed, “Oh my God, Margaret!”
While attending BravoCon in October 2022, Jennifer had an unexpected connection with the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Sheree Whitfield, which she discussed with Andy.
“She impressed me, like blew me out of the water. She was just so unapologetically herself, and you tried to read her about the website thing, and she was like, you know, she was promoting her She by Sheree and I was like, ‘You’re my spirit animal,’”Jennifer recalled.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Jennifer was asked about the remainder of the season.
“It’s a little disappointing to see,” she admitted, seemingly in a nod to the family drama between Teresa and the Gorgas. “There is a big divide, and you’re gonna feel sad for the families that were affected, but you’re rooting for them at the end of the day.”
Also on the live broadcast, Jennifer offered an update on her relationships with her mom and dad.
“My dad still lives with me and my relationship with my mother is great and my relationship between my mother and my father has been great,” she revealed. “They’ve been co-existing, really respectful of one another.”
“My mom even picks him up to take him to church,” she added.
Then, after Andy applauded her for actively promoting aid in Turkey, where a 7.8-magnitude earthquake took the lives of over 50,000 on February 6, Jennifer said she feels called to the cause.
“I have to be a voice for them. It’s such a mass area that has been affected and there’s so many pockets of people that have not been tended to and they’re wondering, ‘Where is all the help?’” she explained.
