Andy Cohen opened up about the Vanderpump Rules scandal involving Tom Sandoval, who reportedly cheated on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss for months, on the latest episode of his SiriusXM radio show.

Days after Raquel stopped him in his tracks as she declared Sandoval was the “cuter” of the two Toms on Watch What Happens Live, despite her summer 2022 fling with Tom Schwartz, Andy revealed what Scheana Shay said to her castmate during a commercial break, looked back at Sandoval and Raquel’s interaction at BravoCon, and reacted to the devastation Ariana is likely feeling.

“I said, ‘Who’s the cuter Tom, Sandoval or Schwartz?’ [And Raquel and Scheana] both said ‘Sandoval.’ I looked up and said to Raquel, ‘Oh you said Sandoval, hmm,’ and then we moved on,” Andy recalled on the March 6 episode of Andy Cohen Live.

While Andy didn’t think much of the comment at the time, Scheana questioned Raquel during the commercial break.

“During the commercial break, Scheana said to … Raquel, ‘You know I only picked Sandoval, because I knew that you were gonna pick Schwartz,’ and Raquel said, ‘Well Sandoval has abs’ and kind of shrugged, so you know that was interesting,” he revealed.

Andy also looked back on Sandoval and Schwartz‘s joint appearance on WWHL, which aired on February 8.

“When Schwartz was on with Sandoval, I believe on premiere night, there was some odd energy between them,” he revealed. “Schwartz was looking at Sandoval the entire time – almost for guidance on answers. So the big question is, when did Schwartz find out about this? I mean, that’s one of the big questions.”

Although it’s hard to say if Schwartz knew about Sandoval’s rumored romance with Raquel before the news was shared with the public on Friday, they were in the midst of the affair, if reports are true, when they attended BravoCon.

“I was at that show, and I’m standing there and Raquel’s standing behind me, and Ariana’s in front of me, and you can see how they’re both looking at Sandoval. It’s wild,” Andy shared of Sandoval’s performance at the event.

After learning of the allegations against Sandoval on Thursday, one day before the rest of the world, Andy’s production team got back to work on Pump Rules season 10 — even though the season wrapped months ago.

“The cameras have been up on everyone, getting reactions and filming so you will see this play out, in a sense, this season of Vanderpump Rules, before the reunion,” he confirmed.

While fans will eventually see the fallout from the rumored affair on the show, Andy said it will be eerie for fans watching the episodes leading up to it.

“When you watch the rest of the season of Vanderpump Rules with the overlay of knowing that Raquel and Sandoval — what’s happened with them and what was possibly happening then — it’s really shocking,” he said, via PEOPLE. “Even Wednesday night’s episode, you’re not going to believe it. Watching it with this overlay, there’s this moment between Ariana and Raquel where you see where their friendship is, which is good. You won’t believe.”

As for the heartbreak Ariana is surely enduring after being “blindsided” by the alleged affair, Andy admitted it’s “very upsetting” and “quite shocking.”

“It’s bad. Poor Ariana. We’ve watched this relationship from the beginning and you just, you feel for her. I mean, that’s the headline. That’s one of the headlines. That has to be first when you go, ‘Poor Ariana.’ She is a treasure,” he declared.

Also on his radio show, as reported by Page Six, who confirmed the reunion films in two weeks, Andy described the cheating scandal as “disturbing.”

“This is a reunion that’s going to be … I’m girding my loins,” he added of the reunion, per PEOPLE.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
