After Schwartz joined Andy Cohen in the Bravo Clubhouse to discuss Tom Sandoval‘s sordid affair with Raquel Leviss, along with other topics, Katie took to her Twitter page, where she called out Schwartz for encouraging fans of Vanderpump Rules to “give [Sandoval] a hug.”
“You’re the only that wants to hug him dude. READ THE ROOM!!!” Katie wrote on April 5, in response to a clip of the show shared on Twitter.
At the end of Wednesday’s WWHL, after being asked if he had any final words, Schwartz had a message for his longtime friend.
“Tom, I know the whole world hates you but I’m not gonna abandon you, old buddy, I’m not gonna abandon you,” he told him. “He knows he’s a monster for what he did and if you see him, maybe give him a hug, even if he doesn’t deserve it, give him a hug.”
“He’s down bad,” Schwartz added.
And Katie didn’t only address WWHL on Twitter. She also shared a video on her Instagram Story in which she commented about her ex-husband’s appearance after addressing the latest episode of Pump Rules.
“Tonight was a spicy Vandeprump Rules night, starting with that terrible dinner I had with Schwartz that just probably shouldn’t have happened. But it was… It served a purpose. We’ll say that,” she told her online audience. “And then with Rachel coming to my room [in Mexico] to tell me where I can and can’t go, just don’t ever do that, ever, cuz I will do what I want. And then ending with that creepy uncle kiss. Like, looking back, I don’t even know why I was tripping over that but whatever.”
Katie then turned her attention to WWHL, saying, “Tom, I have two words for you: media training.”
“You’re just gonna say whatever lands in your head and that’s not good,” she warned.

Also on social media on Wednesday night, Katie reacted to Schwartz labeling her a “monster” throughout his time on WWHL.
“I was called a monster too many times to count,” she wrote on Twitter. “Tonight’s [WWHL] didn’t phase me. Sadly.”
On the WWHL: After Show, Schwartz called Katie a “monster” on numerous occasions after Andy pointed out that Katie had accused him of never advocating for her.
“In the beginning, she was kind of a monster. She was a monster,” Schwartz noted. “She’s had a falling out with every single person in her life, multiple times, and I didn’t like to be dragged into all that. I guess I became a little numb when she actually did need me. It’s like the boy who cried wolf.”
Then, after realizing that he said the word “monster,” Schwartz changed his tune.
“Oh no no no … Angel,” he clarified.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
