Brandi Glanville appeared on Teresa Giudice‘s podcast on Wednesday, where she opened up about the drama she faced with Caroline Manzo on the upcoming fourth season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
Ahead of the Peacock series’ premiere, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum reacted to the “defamatory” claims regarding her supposedly inappropriate touching of the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, admitting that while she can go “too far” at times, the backlash she’s faced for her alleged behavior has been worse than her divorce.
“[Caroline] was definitely like more of a mom kind of figure when she came into the group. She [was] talking about her granddaughter a lot and like, getting her steps in, walking around the pool,” Brandi recalled on the April 19 episode of PodcastOne’s Namaste B$tches. “She was cool.”
Although Brandi doesn’t know where things went so wrong, she suspected the RHONJ alum simply woke up the next morning with regrets.
“We got a little wild. Things got a little heavy and then the next day, you think about it and what people are gonna see and you’re like ‘Oh sh-t. That’s not my brand or … That’s not me,'” she explained. “So I don’t know if it was a combination of everything. I don’t know what it is. I just want it to be over.”
“This has been the worst … Like, besides my divorce, this has been the worst time in my life,” she added.
As rumors continue to swirl in regard to what went down between the two of them, Brandi said she looks forward to seeing the new season of RHUGT play out.
“She has her truth. I have my truth. And then we’re gonna figure out what the truth is when we see the footage,” she explained. “We were all drinking, even her, and so, none of us have seen it. But me, [Vicki Gunvalson], [Phaedra Parks], [Eva Marcille], [Gretchen Rossi], we all have the same recollection, right? And so I don’t know. And honestly, if I did go too far, which I can, honestly, you guys know me, you saw me last season. I stuck my tongue down [Taylor Armstrong]’s throat. I gave everyone lap dances. But again, it’s like, know your audience.”
As for her potential lawsuit against Peacock, Brandi confirmed she is not suing anyone, although she did enlist legal representation.
“I’m not suing anyone. I just want to see the footage so that I can have a takeaway. They are not gonna show it to me. They declined to show it to me and it’s just like, I have to protect myself at this point,” she stated. “So I did hire someone to have someone having my back because this is getting to the point where [it’s] defamatory, really.
Earlier this month, while appearing on Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp‘s podcast, Caroline described the time she spent filming RHUGT as “traumatic.”
“This was very traumatic for me,” Caroline replied. “This is a really large onion with a lot of layers and I guess it’ll play out … I don’t want to talk too much about it cuz I’m going through a lot with it and I’m processing it all.”
A premiere date for Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season four has not yet been set.
