Ariana Madix ventured to New York City, where new man Daniel Wai resides, after attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., with Lisa Vanderpump and Lala Kent over the weekend.
Months after the Vanderpump Rules star was rocked by the news that her then-boyfriend of nearly 10 years, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her for months with their longtime friend and co-star, Raquel Leviss, she opened up about her biggest takeaway from the scandal.
“I’ve learned recently that I can handle anything that’s thrown at me in life,” Ariana revealed to E! News at the dinner on Saturday, April 29. “I think that that was something I was always scared of.”
In addition to having tons of support from her loved ones, Ariana is also leaning on Lisa, her former boss at SUR Restaurant.
“I’ve learned a lot from Lisa on a regular basis,” she admitted. “Lisa has instilled a lot of confidence in me. She’s like my fairy godmother.”
Also speaking to E! News at the event, Lisa said she’s looking forward to seeing Ariana bounce back from her heartbreak stronger than ever.
“When your heart is broken, and I get goosebumps when I talk about that, to have it publicly displayed all over the world, the humiliation. I just love to see her come back—take a minute—but then come back stronger,” she stated. “I think that’s what life’s about. It’s not about how hard you fall, it’s how many times you get up. So cheers to that.”
Ariana then addressed the stunning white gown and sheer cape, which were created by Needle and Thread, that she wore to the Correspondents’ Dinner.
“I’ve never worn anything like this so I was just really excited to try something new,” she gushed. “I kind of feel like an angel.”
Following her appearance in D.C., Ariana traveled to the Big Apple to see her new beau, Daniel, who shared a couple of photos on Monday night in regard to their impending “date night.”
“Which one for date night?” he asked, along with four different sneaker options.
Then, in a second post, he was seen wearing one of the four as Ariana wore a similar pair of her own.
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Ariana first matched sneakers with Daniel during the Coachella Music Festival in April, where they initially went public with their romance.
In addition to their date night, Ariana and Daniel were also seen attending a Yankees game in the Bronx, where they posed with a fan and were spotted laughing as they appeared on the jumbotron at the event.
“Shoutout to [Ariana Madix] for joining us tonight!” the MLB team wrote in the caption of a photo of Ariana shared to their Instagram Story, via Queens of Bravo on Instagram.
And in another photo shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram, Ariana was seen cozying up to Daniel.
Then, in another pic shared by Bravo and Cocktails, Ariana and Daniel were featured on the big screen.
“On the jumbotron for the world to see!” they wrote in the caption.
