Peter Madrigal shared a text message he received from Tom Sandoval, which questioned him about his potential hookup with Raquel Leviss, on a recent episode of Scheana Shay‘s podcast.
As Scheana suggested Raquel actually had an entirely different man in her life around the same time, Peter revealed how Sandoval confronted him while also proclaiming he was “used” by Raquel to cover up her months-long affair with Sandoval.
“I was being used in a sense to cover up this illicit affair. A lot of people were,” Peter explained on the May episode of Scheananigans. “That’s why she was like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna go with Peter and then [Oliver Saunders] and then [Tom Schwartz], you know what I mean? Just to cover this whole thing up.”
“There was someone else too, but I’m not gonna get into that just yet,” Scheana interjected. Peter agreed, “We don’t have to get into that just yet.”
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Raquel went on a date with Peter at the start of production on season 10, and just a short time later, after traveling to Vegas, she shared a kiss with Oliver, who was accused by his then-wife of cheating. But she didn’t stop there. Instead, she also made out with Schwartz in Mexico and began an affair with Sandoval, her now-ex-best friend Ariana Madix‘s then-boyfriend.
Also on the podcast, after Scheana mentioned the text Peter received from Sandoval, Peter revealed what it said.
“Okay, so I’m in complete euphoria because I celebrate Gasparilla. It’s like Mardi Gras, dressed like a pirate. So anyway, I’m getting off of the plane, take my phone off airplane mode, and the first text that comes up, bing! It’s uh, Tom Sandoval,” Peter recalled.
“‘Dude! Just watched the first episode lol! Did you bang Raquel that night after SUR!?'” Peter continued about what the message said.
“Laughing-crying emoji. This guy never sends me laughing-crying emoji,” he added.
Since Sandoval and Raquel’s romance was confirmed, Peter has spoken out against her on a number of occasions.
“I don’t know what kind of person would do something like this,” he stated on Hollywood Life‘s Pay Attention Puh-Lease! podcast last month. “She’s a person who kept everything very secret. That’s not someone I want to be associated with. It’s kind of terrifying, actually. To think that someone like this, you think she’s a nice person, and all of a sudden she turns out to be something completely different.”
