Sonja Morgan Clarifies Her "I'm Home" Comment Amid RHUGT as Fans React, Plus Cast Films Racy TikTok in St. Barts

Sonja Morgan raised concern with fans on Thursday when she shared a photo from her New York City residence on Instagram and told her fans and followers she was “home” — all while her castmates continued to film Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip in St. Barts.

Just after she and her Real Housewives of New York City co-stars, including Ramona SingerLuann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman, filmed a racy video for TikTok, Sonja caused controversy with the pic before sharing her true location.

“The next season of [RHUGT] is going to be insane! Need it now!” Queens of Bravo proclaimed on Instagram on June 14, along with the TikTok video the RHONY cast made of themselves dancing in the middle of a restaurant.

But shortly after the clip was shared, Sonja shared a pic of herself standing in front of her Upper East Side townhouse, which caused her online audience to wonder if she left St. Barts early.

“Bopping around [New York City]!!! I’m home … How are you guys doing?” Sonja asked in the caption of her photo.

In the comments section of Sonja’s post, fans wondered what the post could mean.

“Please tell me an intern screwed up by posting this and you are actually still in St Barts….” one person said.

“EXCUSE ME BUT WHY ARE YOU HOME?” asked another.

“I was doing well until I saw this post! Why aren’t you in St. Barts??” shared a third.

Then, after someone else wondered, “Um…why are you home,” Sonja set the record straight.

“I meant I’m back in general. I’ll be flying back from [RHUGT] soon,” she stated.

In addition to appearing on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, Sonja and Luann will also be seen in their new spinoff, which is based out of Benton, Illinois, a small midwestern town that is a far cry from the Big Apple.

Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake season one premieres on Sunday, July 9, at 9/8c on Bravo.
