Jenelle Evans‘ estranged husband, David Eason, was hit with a search warrant in North Carolina in June of last year due to the potential “sexual exploitation of a minor.”
After the 33-year-old Teen Mom 2 star claimed to have discovered material relating to “sexual exploitation of a minor” in divorce documents filed against David, 36, the sheriff’s office issued a warrant against him, informing the former reality star that property would be seized.
The court document, obtained by The U.S. Sun on April 22, requested “that the court issue a warrant to search the person, place, vehicle[,] and other items described in this application and to find and seize the property and person described in this application.”
According to the filing, the sheriff’s office had reason to believe they would discover evidence of “the commission of a criminal offense or contraband” against David and were searching for confirmation of “first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor” and “second-degrvee exploitation of a minor.”
But since the filing was made, no charges have been filed against him.
As Teen Mom 2 fans will recall, Jenelle filed for separation from David in February 2024 and relocated to Las Vegas with her three children, sons Jace, 16, Kaiser, 10, and daughter Ensley, 8, months later.
In her separation filing, Jenelle said David’s “excessive use of alcohol was burdensome and rendered plaintiff’s life intolerable” as she accused him of insulting and degrading her and “recklessly” spending her hard-earned money.
Jenelle also blamed David for two incidents in which she temporarily lost custody of her kids, including his slaying of their family dog and his alleged strangling of Jace.
“Plaintiff has been a faithful and dutiful spouse to the defendant and has stuck by the defendant’s side through the criticism of millions of people across the world on social media, who voiced concern regarding the defendant’s behaviors,” Jenelle wrote in the filing.
She even claimed David caused her to lose employment opportunities and caused damage to her public image.
Jenelle is requesting primary physical custody of her and David’s daughter, Ensley, child support, and their marital home.
