Lala Kent reacted to Danny Booko shading her lack of husband after Wednesday’s episode of The Valley saw them in an intense face-off amid his birthday dinner at the beach.
As Janet Caperna, 36, and Michelle Saniei, 37, applauded Lala, 35, for the life she created as a single mother, Danny, 42, described Lala as “out of line,” and Nia Booko, 36, admitted she wouldn’t want to be in Lala’s shoes, Luke Broderick, 35, expressed regret about not having Danny’s back more and other cast members weighed in.
“For Danny to yell to me, me, ‘Go get your husband,’ as if he thought that would affect me in any capacity. It’s like, have you seen the life I’ve created?” Lala asked on the July 8 episode of The Valley: After Show. “I’m like, ‘How f*cking lazy.’”
“I was so unaffected by it, and I have structured my life in such a meticulous way, so if you’re going to step to me with an insult, you better do better than that,” she added.
Speaking of Lala’s family, which consists of daughter Ocean, 5, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, 55, and daughter Sosa, 1, whom she welcomed via a sperm donor, Janet said she “built a beautiful life for herself,” as Michelle agreed, saying, “Everything about when you walk into that home is just like, peace and love.”
While Lala made it clear she was unbothered by Danny’s diss, she expected him to try harder.
“I’ve heard that Danny has told people that he’s been warned about me; well, you certainly didn’t, like, practice to go toes with me,” she pointed out. “[And] looking back on it, it makes me cackle a little bit … It’s like, ‘Nia, this is the man you’re trying to protect?’”
According to Danny, he was “completely baffled” at Lala coming for him on his birthday, and completely ruining what his wife had planned for him, which included a “Happy Birthday” churro late in their hotel room.
“It’s my birthday. It’s my 10-year wedding anniversary, and she’s stirring the pot, and I was at a point where I was going 10 toes down,” he admitted. “It was really hurtful. It was really out of line.”
As for Nia, she admitted that both Lala and Danny were guilty of “antagonizing each other.”
Still, she was unconcerned with Lala’s claims about her spouse.
“I definitely don’t take criticism from someone that I wouldn’t want to trade places with. I’m not trying to be in her shoes, so thank you, but no thank you,” she stated.
Then, after Kristen Doute, 43, insisted Danny and Nia’s marriage was “great” and “healthy,” her fiancé, Luke, admitted he should’ve done more.
“Lala made Nia cry on her 10th anniversary and her husband’s birthday. That was the most inconsiderate sh*t I’ve seen as far as, like, have some GD awareness. That is some BS. Don’t try to demonize somebody else when it’s their day. I wish I’d been there for [Danny] that night,” he shared.
Tom Schwartz, 43, also felt helpless in the situation.
“I felt like a passive bystander. I was trying to, like, reason with them and it just went to sh*t,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jason Caperna, 42, signaled Danny’s ongoing claim of an “organized takedown.”
The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
