Taylor Frankie Paul has declined separate custody offers from her ex-husband, Tate Paul, and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
According to a new report, after Tate, 32, and Dakota, 33, submitted separate proposals that would’ve given them each 60 percent custody of their children, with the 32-year-old Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star being granted 40 percent, Taylor immediately declined the offers.
“So now I’m suddenly capable of parenting 40% of the time? Couldn’t be more obvious what this is really about—and it isn’t the safety or well-being of our children,” Taylor said of the proposal, via an insider who spoke to Page Six on July 29.
Following the leaking of a shocking video of Taylor fighting with Dakota earlier this year, during which she threw chairs and screamed at him with her daughter nearby, Dakota was given temporary full custody of their two-year-old son, Ever, and granted a temporary restraining order against her.
In the months that followed, Taylor was granted her own restraining order against Dakota, as Tate requested full custody of their eight-year-old daughter, Indy, and six-year-old son, Ocean, while also filing for a temporary restraining order against her.
While Tate’s request was denied, he and Dakota, who are now using the same attorney, have been accused of teaming up against Taylor with their coordinated legal efforts.
As their custody battles continue, Taylor is said to be prepared to continue fighting for her kids and looks forward to addressing the claims Tate and Dakota have made against her through the court.
“[She] can’t wait to witness them lose,” the insider shared. “She is continuing to get things together. It’s unclear what’s going to happen yet with her season of The Bachelorette, but she has been receiving a lot of support online from other women.”
A separate source previously told TMZ that Taylor was a “survivor” and that she felt Dakota was responsible for Tate’s recent custody filing, describing it as “a direct result” of Dakota “telling Tate lies about her.”
“She feels Dakota will do anything to hurt her … including using the children, but she is a survivor,” the source claimed.
Taylor was married to Tate from 2016 to 2022, and she dated Dakota from 2022 to 2026.
