West Wilson posted a new photo of himself with Amanda Batula on Instagram on Thursday night.

As an insider shared how the Summer House alums’ controversial romance would impact the potential second season of In the City, which Bravo has yet to renew, and confirmed that Amanda, 35, and Kyle Cooke‘s divorce was “[moving] forward,” West, 31, posted a carousel of recent images.

“Opps,” he wrote in the caption of the August 6 Instagram post, which featured a black-and-white image of him and Amanda standing on a bridge at a lake.

As Amanda and West continue to enjoy one another’s company, In the City season two remains up in the air amid a major cast divide.

“There is still some tension surrounding West,” an insider told Us Weekly on August 5. “If Amanda returns for a second season of the show, the cast would not be particularly welcoming toward him. They aren’t friends with him in real life. They don’t like him because of what happened with [him and Ciara Miller]. They are friends with Ciara and Kyle and have loyalty to them … [and] have no interest in befriending him, even for Amanda.”

While nothing is confirmed quite yet, the source said it was possible that Amanda would not be asked to return.

“Amanda may not be on the show next season, and Bravo may want her to take a break for a bit,” the insider shared. “No one in the cast is still really speaking to them.”

Following the news from weeks ago that both West and Amanda would be left out of Summer House season 11 due to the fallout from their relationship, Bravo executive Josh Brown admitted it was “too early to say” whether Amanda would return to In the City.

“It’s too early to talk about that. We just finished airing the season, but we always approach things organically and by the facts on the ground,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in July. “Anything’s always possible, but there’s no plans for anything at this time about anything … We’re getting our heads around where we go from here, so it’s too early to talk about casting for season 2.”

“We are so appreciative of everything she’s done so far, and we really care about her,” he added of Amanda. “But it’s just too early to be having any talks like that. It’s premature.”

The Us Weekly source went on to say that Amanda was “happier now” that she was with West, but she hoped to “remain friends with Kyle and mend her friendships with the cast of In The City.”

They also noted that Amanda and Kyle were “moving forward” with their divorce, claiming Kyle’s lawyer recently sent “walk-away” terms as part of the process.

Although Amanda admitted at the In the City reunion that she and West had yet to tell one another, “I love you,” the insider clarified that it was “more like they’re falling in love while dating.”

“They’re in a place where they’re dating, really enjoying each other, and genuinely like one another. For now, their focus is simply on spending time together and seeing where the relationship goes, without putting pressure on it or making major plans for the future,” they explained.
