Amanda Batula opened up about her relationship with West Wilson during Tuesday night’s episode of the In the City reunion.
As she also revealed if she was on beta blockers at the Summer House reunion, and Kyle Cooke, 43, admitted to hooking up with Southern Charm‘s Salley Carson, 31, Amanda confirmed that she and West, 31, had never said, “I love you,” to one another, and explained how Kyle and West differed.
While Amanda revealed that she and West were monogamous, she hesitated to say whether they were “in love.”
“It’s a weird question to answer,” she admitted, also sharing that she and West don’t “really” exchange “I love yous.”

Then, after Andy Cohen, 58, admitted to taking heat for only questioning West about his use of beta blockers at the Summer House reunion, the host asked Amanda if she, too, had “disengaged, chemically.”
“No. I was on a beta blocker as well, but that’s not why I was disengaged,” she clarified. “I think after a while, I think people can see also when Kyle and I have had arguments, my defense mechanism is to just shut down and disassociate. That wasn’t because of medication.”

During another moment, Kyle pointed out that rumors began swirling about Amanda and West just two weeks after he and Amanda confirmed their split.
“[That] doesn’t make sense to me because we weren’t an item at all. We were texting,” Amanda insisted.
“Well, take it up with him because he’s out there running his mouth before apparently you guys were an item, saying you were an item, which again, like, what’s his M.O.?” Kyle replied, as Amanda admitted, “[I] don’t know.”
After Kyle admitted to feeling more betrayed by West “because [they] were boys and [he and Amanda] were done with [their relationship],” Amanda pointed out that Kyle had “made out with someone before [she] was even texting West in any sort of way.”
“Kyle was done,” she stated, as Lindsay Hubbard, 39, signaled a makeout Kyle engaged in ahead of the Summer House premiere.
“My point is, Kyle wasn’t like, in his bed crying … Kyle was like, enjoying his freedom,” Amanda continued, prompting Kyle to come clean about a recent hookup with Salley.
“I was just in Charleston … We hung out. We hooked up,” he shared.

At another moment from the episode, Amanda’s co-star, Nick Barber, 34, pointed out that when it came to her past complaints about Kyle, West seemed 10 times worse.
“That’s not what I’ve been experiencing whatsoever. And on the flip side, I’m actually getting from him things that I felt I was lacking in my relationship with Kyle, [like having] someone that’s been supportive,” Amanda fired back.
But Kyle shut her down, saying, “You’ll know when he does your taxes, negotiates your brand deals, makes your bed. How did I not support you?”
“I didn’t say you don’t support me, but towards the end of our relationship, there were things that were missing. Not the whole time,” Amanda explained.
Then, after Kyle said he was still helping Amanda, he admitted to being “hurt” by her claim.
“I understand our marriage was not perfect. I understand there was a lot missing. I don’t think support was,” he reasoned.
Still, Amanda persisted, “The way that [West] like, talks to me and tells me, like, it’s just his actions … It’s different.”
