Kelli Potter called out Angela Oakley on social media on Wednesday over the alleged foreclosure of the $2 million mansion she owns with Charles Oakley.
Just days after accusing the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast of targeting her finances in an effort to “cover up [their] real lives,” Kelli, 41, shared a screenshot that seemingly proved that Angela, 45, and Charles, 62, had nearly lost their home to auction.
“ANGELA Dionne Reed … This is the $2 MILLION house we’re speaking of?! Baby, this is your MARITAL HOME, not an ‘investment property,'” Kelli wrote on X on August 12. “This was in foreclosure and up for auction … correct?”
“See, I have been VERY open and honest about my entire life….the GOOD, the BAD & the UGLY. I never pretended my life was perfect, and I’ve never needed it to be,” Kelli continued. “So before we discuss finances (which is weird, with your lifetime ban from FINRA and all?), MY home, or MY real-life struggles… make sure we’re bringing EVERYTHING to the forefront.”
Following the sharing of the posts, Kelli was met with backlash from fans who reminded her of a recent judgment Gary L. Tolliver, who Angela mentioned at the reunion, was awarded against her.
“She needs to clean around her front door first before digging up dirt on people,” one person wrote.
“Girl worry about paying Gary and your bills. Angela has been very open about her struggles,” said another.
As fans may recall, after discussing the potential foreclosures of a number of unsold investment properties amid the 16th season of RHOA last year, Angela discussed a major financial loss on the show’s 17th season earlier this year.
“I lost approximately $2 million in real estate. $2 million of my own money. I feel like I learned so much that I didn’t want to stop investing in real estate,” she revealed on an April episode.
Also, after the sharing of Kelli’s posts, one woman suggested that the screenshot Kelli shared was not current.
In addition to targeting Angela on X, Kelli recently shaded her co-star on an episode of Reality with The King, slamming her as “disgusting” for accusing Shamea Morton, 44, of cheating on her husband, Gerald Mwangi, with her also-married neighbor, George Byrom.
“It disappoints me,” she stated. “I think it’s disgusting of Angela to speak on someone’s marriage, and she doesn’t like other people to speak on hers. I think if you’re hiring a private investigator, you should hire it on yourself.”
“I think marriage is a beautiful covenant, and we all make mistakes, and we all fall short, but I think for you to look for a splinter in someone’s marriage is pretty f*cking crazy,” she added.
