Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke reunited on Thursday night for his Soft Strides event at his non-alcoholic bar, Soft Bar.
Three years after their dramatic split, which came just weeks before they were set to wed, the Summer House cast members looked happy to spend time together as they confirmed they’d gotten to a “healthy” new chapter with one another and said they were “celebrating each other’s singleness.”
As cameras rolled, Lindsay, 40, hopped on Carl’s shoulders with a teddy bear as they posed for a photo.
During an August 15 interview with PEOPLE, Lindsay and Carl spoke of their efforts to find love, noting that they’d never used dating apps and preferred to meet potential partners organically.
“We’re trying to help wingman [for each other] too,” Carl said. “I want her to be respected and find someone and have fun and be treated well. And, like, of course I care about whoever that is, so I’m going to be there to be supportive.”
“And if he f*cks up, we’ll have some words with him,” he added.
“Yeah, exactly. Don’t f*ck up,” Lindsay agreed, noting that she had “given [Carl] advice along the way.”
Because Lindsay and Carl had gone to such a dark place after their August 2023 split, Carl said it meant “a lot to [him]” that he and Lindsay were able to reconcile their friendship.
“I care a lot about this person,” he explained. “She’s been in my life for a long time, and the fact that we’re where we are right now, it means a lot to me. And it’s been really just healthy, and I love the chapter that we’re on right now. For real.”
“We’re enjoying it,” Lindsay stated. “It’s been really fun.”
As Summer House fans will recall, Lindsay moved on from her relationship with Carl to Turner Kufe. However, they split just months after welcoming their daughter Gemma in December 2024.
“I didn’t really feel back in my body and myself until, like, March or April of this year for a million different reasons,” she explained. “Last year was just, like, a lot. There was a lot going on. I was very busy. I was stressed out. There were two TV shows. I was trying to be a new mom… [and]… postpartum … [Then] March and April hit and I’m like, ‘All right. And I’m back. Watch out.'”
As they film season 11, Lindsay and Carl are two of many single cast members.
“For the first time in the history of our group, we are all single, which is kind of crazy,” Carl said. “There’s always been someone who’s got something going on with a relationship, but it’s a new chapter … It’s fun. There’s a lot going on, and singles should be fun, and it is. Season 11 will be fun.”
As for what else fans can expect from the upcoming episodes, Lindsay said, “We have new castmates.”
“It’s gonna be a really good season,” she teased.
“It’s a really good summer, a really good season, and there’s already been some really good stuff,” Carl added. “We needed to move on from all of that, and I think we’re doing a really good job so far.”
Summer House season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
