Jax Taylor has been granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Brittany Cartwright.

After Brittany, 37, was granted her own restraining order against Jax, 47, last month after accusing him of threatening to “gut [her] like a [f*cking] fish,” and presenting the court with photos of alleged injuries she sustained from him, the former Valley cast member fired back, asking the court to deny Brittany’s request and keep her 100 yards away from him and his home.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on September 1, a judge awarded Jax the order against Brittany, but noted that it would expire on September 24, the same day that a hearing would take place on the matter.

In his paperwork, Jax, who is currently dating publicist Lori Krebs, noted that Brittany had labeled him “an abuser” and seemed “determined to make this a label that sticks, even though [he has] done nothing to deserve this.”

Following Brittany’s restraining order request, Jax told Us Weekly in a statement, “I made a lot of mistakes and behaved in ways during that period of my life that I’m truly ashamed of and regret and take full responsibility for. The person I was in 2024, during the darkest time of my life and at the height of my addiction, is not the person I am today.”

“I got help, went to treatment, and today I’m 1 year and 9 months sober. I’ve remained committed to treatment and therapy, working on myself and changing my life,” his statement continued. “There are allegations being made that I strongly dispute. The full story, context and evidence will be addressed where it belongs — in court. I will respect the court’s orders and the legal process.”

Also in his court documents, per TMZ, Jax accused Brittany of getting drunk and trying to sleep with him in August 2024, about a week after he checked out of rehab. As he recalled, they had taken their five-year-old son, Cruz, to the aquarium and Hooters, where Brittany allegedly ordered several shots of tequila at around 2 o’clock.

“She would often drink during the day, and when we went to a park or a place like Disneyland or Universal Studios or the zoo with Cruz, she would put tequila in a water bottle that she kept in his stroller,” he wrote.

On the way home from Hooters, Jax said Brittany asked, “Should we have sex again to see if we still have it?” When he wasn’t on board, she got mad and offended, calling him names and saying he was “disgusting.” In response, Jax said he told her, “I would never have sex with you, you’re completely wasted and a drunk. A week after I get out of rehab, you get drunk like this in front of me and in front of our son?”

At that point, Jax alleged, Brittany hit him in the face with a closed fist, leading to “pain [that] was blinding.”
