Tom Sandoval is clapping back at Lala Kent for her bullying behavior.
After the Vanderpump Rules cast member was featured on Watch What Happens Live, where she slammed Sandoval for being annoying and said that when it comes to his relationship with Ariana Madix, she has to “get her out,” Sandoval spotlighted Lala’s “random” attacks on their castmates as Tom Schwartz confirmed he and Katie Maloney made a “pact” not to hook up with anyone in their friend group.
“I really don’t take much of anything Lala takes or says seriously. I don’t really consider her ever, like, much of a threat,” Sandoval told to Us Weekly on February 23. “Lala’s a bully. She’s been a bully for years.”
According to Sandoval, he and Lala were “really, really cool for … the first seasons” and he “really looked out for her.” Then, as he recalled, he began witnessing unprovoked bullying from her.
“Once she started just randomly bullying [Raquel Leviss] for, like, no reason, and then going after [Scheana Shay], and then going back after Katie [Maloney], and then coming after Ariana [Madix], then coming after me — there’s no real legitimate reason for her to be that way,” Sandoval stated. “When you get to the core of it … I’m not surprised. I feel like she just randomly chooses somebody to just, like, set her sights on and go after her.”
“I don’t know what to say … maybe she should get a hobby or something,” he added.
As for the drama between Katie and Scheana, Sandoval said Scheana “was told by Katie to set Schwartz up with Raquel” at the opening of Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpump á Paris restaurant in April 2022.
“If you ask for chocolate milk and somebody gets you chocolate milk, like, and you’re mad at them, like, you asked for it,” he also told Us Weekly. “She literally asked for it. She told Scheana, like, ‘I encourage you to do that. I’m doing my thing, and I’m having fun.’”
“Once she found [how Katie really felt], she kind of, like, stopped,” Sandoval continued.
Meanwhile, during his own interview, Schwartz told the outlet that Scheana is a “solid” friend before admitting that he and Katie did have a pact to not hook up with friends, although it was “informal.”
“We did make, like, this sort of very informal pact to not hook up with anyone from the group, but I don’t know,” Schwartz shared. “I don’t know much merit I put in that.”
“If the roles were reversed … it doesn’t matter who Katie hooks up with or didn’t, would’ve hooked up with,” he added.
