The Vanderpump Rules season 10 trailer may have hinted at a potential rendezvous between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss. But according to Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend and co-star, Ariana Madix, there is no truth to the suspicions regarding their potential “open relationship.”

After Scheana Shay was seen questioning Sandoval about the rules, or lack thereof, of his and Ariana’s romance, claiming Katie Maloney had suggested they allow others into their sexual adventures, Ariana took to her Twitter page with a series of statements.

“We don’t have an open relationship. I’m really not that cool. Thought that was obvious,” Ariana tweeted on January 9, just after the season 10 trailer was released.

Then, in a second tweet, she further confirmed her sexuality, explaining that being bisexual doesn’t mean that she’s open to having multiple partners, or open to the concept for Sandoval.

“Bisexual ≠ polyamorous,” she wrote.

Although Ariana claims she and Sandoval don’t have an open relationship, fans reacting to her posts couldn’t help but recall her season seven hookup with Lala Kent, which went down in the backseat of Sandoval’s car.

“Well, you did have relations in the backseat with another so it isn’t obvious. No judgement,” one person noted.

“But you and Lala had or-l s-x in the back seat while Tom was driving. Sounds pretty open to me,” shared another.

“Exactly,” agreed a third.

After Ariana and Lala’s hookup was featured on the show, she and Sandoval spoke about the incident on an episode of the Pump Rules: After Show.

“[Lala] kind of initiated some things happening, I was behind Tom, so I was kind of grabbing him, I’m looking at him in the rearview mirror, and that’s when I feel like I started to really sober up, because I was like, ‘What is happening right now? What is happening?’ Obviously, Lala is super hot, so I was [thinking] is this maybe our … are we three gonna? …Because that sounds f-cking great,” Ariana admitted at the time.

But Sandoval didn’t ultimately get involved.

“I was hungry and jittery from coffee. When you’re overly sober and caffeinated and you’re around two people that are kinda sh-tfaced, it’s like annoying. You know I was like, annoyed,” he explained.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 premieres on Wednesday, February 8, at 9/8c on Bravo.
