Teen Mom OG Cast Farrah Abraham Replacement Cheyenne Floyd

The cast of Teen Mom OG is said to be quite upset about the alleged addition of Cheyenne Floyd to their show but that hasn’t stopped producers from moving forward with the former star of Are You The One? and The Challenge.

Days after it was revealed that Cheyenne had been tapped to replace Farrah Abraham following her season seven firing, a report claims a production crew has begun filming scenes with Cheyenne and her ex-boyfriend, Cory Wharton.

“They started test shooting on Wednesday,” a source told Radar Online on June 22.

According to the report, producers haven’t officially welcomed Cheyenne to the show and if she “doesn’t fill the big hole” left by Farrah, they likely won’t bring her aboard.

“They haven’t been paid yet,” the source said of Cheyenne and Cory. “[They] have not signed a contract at this time.”

Cheyenne and Cory dated briefly and revealed in December of last year that they had secretly welcomed their daughter, Ryder, together in April 2017.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the cast of Teen Mom OG, including Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout, wasn’t happy about Cheyenne’s addition.

“[Amber Portwood] is pissed off about the new cast member,” a source close to Amber told Radar Online. “They’ve been doing Teen Mom for ten years and don’t think they like the idea of someone who is a total newbie and has never even been on the show before coming on permanently.”

“They all just think it’s stupid that they’re brining people from outside the franchise instead of bringing the OGs and the [Teen Mom 2] cast together,” the insider continued. “Maci loves Chelsea, Kail and Amber get along, it just makes more sense.”

Farrah also responded to the news, telling Radar Online that she couldn’t care less who joins the show.

“I don’t watch the show anymore as I’ve moved on,” she said. “The show was done when I left.”

It was previously reported that Mackenzie McKee would be serving as Farrah’s replacement.

Teen Mom OG season eight is expected to air sometime later this year on MTV.
