Chris Lopez wasn’t too happy after seeing a recent clip of Teen Mom 2 in which his baby mama, Kailyn Lowry, labeled him as an “Instagram dad” and quickly took to Twitter to air his grievances.
According to a new report, Chris shared a now-deleted tweet about being an “Instagram parent” on Tuesday, July 18, before taking aim at the MTV series and a friend of his former girlfriend, who added her two cents about his apparent parenting failures.
“Instagram parent,” Chris, who recently changed his Twitter name to “IG Papi,” wrote after seeing the scene in question.
Chris also said, “F**K Teen Mom 2.”

During the Teen Mom 2 clip, Kailyn was seen sitting in the backseat of a car driven by her friend Sierra, aka the “bird in the driver seat,” as her co-star, Leah Messer, sat in the passenger seat.
“Chris texted me. Chris saw that I was in Hawaii and now all of a sudden he’s asking where his son is. But before I came here, he never asked me one time how his son is doing,” Kailyn told her friends. “So now he wants to know and now all a sudden he wants to see his son this week while I’m here. That’s horrible.”
According to Kailyn, Chris had recently re-posted an image of Lux on Instagram that she had taken several months prior. In the caption, he reportedly said, “Lux is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
“When he’s seen him twice,” Sierra noted. “Acting like he’s a parent when he doesn’t give two sh**s. And now, all of a sudden, he wants to see the kid. He’s trash.”
Although Kailyn and Chris’ relationship was quite strained at the time the scene was filmed, she has since suggested on social media that things are going better between them by revealing they are planning to celebrate their son Lux‘s upcoming 1st birthday with a joint party.
Teen Mom 2 airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. on MTV.
