John Sessa is firing back at Kyle Richards‘ claim that Lisa Vanderpump set up a scene to expose the Puppy Gate drama following Tuesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine reunion.
After Kyle went on a Twitter rant about the events of season nine and suggested that Lisa was part of a Vanderpump Dogs set up, John fired back in a series of tweets of his own. One of these tweets included an email from the shelter where Dorit Kemsley‘s former dog was dumped, and another included an email from RHOBH producers. He then called out Kyle for sharing misinformation about the shelter’s policy.
“Don’t twist this & create ur own narrative,” John demanded in his first tweet, which came after Kyle said she knew exactly “what was going on” when she was invited to Vanderpump Dogs to film the premiere episode.
“Here is the Location Agreement for the scene [VanderpumpDogs],” John continued. “It was requested by production on 7/25 BEFORE the dog was dumped (on 7/29) & was supposed to be a scene between u and [Teddi Mellencamp] grooming ur dogs on 8/2)!”

In the first email, John was seen corresponding with someone who emailed him on July 25 of last year about filming at Vanderpump Dogs. Then, in a second email, it was confirmed that Lucy had been dropped off at the Newport Beach Animal Shelter on July 29, four days later.
In a third email, the production schedule for Vanderpump Dogs was confirmed.
In a second tweet, John responded to another post Kyle shared in which she suggested that Dorit may have chosen to re-home her dog, rather than return her, to avoid having to pay the $5,000 return fee.
“Dorit made a mistake. She should have turned the dog back into Vanderpump Dogs. There is no disputing that. Maybe it was the $5,000 return policy that made Dorit think finding a good home for Lucy on her own was a better choice,” she suspected.
But according to John, there wasn’t a $5,000 return fee. Instead, there was a $5,000 penalty for those who fail to return animals to the center.
“It’s incredible that after 1 year of this storyline u still don’t seem to understand the facts,” John fired back at Kyle. “It’s not a “$5k return policy” it’s a $5k FINE if you DON’T return the dog to us – it’s to stop the dog from ending up in an unloving home (or kill shelter) #PleaseEducateYourself.”
