RHONJ Star Teresa Giudice Speaks Out After Husband Joe Giudice's Bond Request is Denied, Opens Up About "Really Difficult Time"

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is speaking out on how she’s feeling amid news that her husband Joe Giudice will not be released from ICE custody on bail.

On September 20, the New Jersey housewife’s husband’s bond request was denied in court, meaning he’ll continue to be in ICE custody until a judge gives a final ruling regarding his deportation appeal. And as fans can imagine, Teresa hasn’t been dealing with the news well.

In an interview on Saturday, the 47-year-old revealed that she wasn’t in a good place considering everything that’s happening in her personal life.

“It’s a sad time with my husband and everything so we’re going to try and work it out as best we can,” the reality star explained to US Weekly. “The most important thing is our four daughters, so I’m hoping Joe is able to stay in the United States.”

Since Joe began his sentence after being charged with bank and mail fraud, the Standing Strong author has had to take care of her and Joe’s four daughters, Gia Giudice, 18, Gabriella Giudice, 14, Milania Giudice, 13, and Audriana Giudice, 10, who she admitted “are going through a really difficult time right now.”

But after serving 11 months in prison for a handful of fraud charges herself, Teresa knows the importance of staying positive in the darkest of times.

“I had all these businesses and everything went crashing down,” the Bravo star said as she looked back on how far she’s come since being released. “But, look, I picked myself right back up, and if anybody else is going through hard times, don’t worry about it. You will get through it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I do believe that. You’ve got to be positive!”

While she tries to look on the bright side of things, the New Jersey reality star still worries about how all this will affect her four daughters in the long term.

“If [Joe] gets deported, he’ll never be able to go to their graduation[s], celebrate their birthdays, anything. He’s going to be missing out on so much,” the reality star reportedly explained in a Bravo Insider interview back in June. “The girls adore their father and no child should have to go through what my daughters are going through. They should have their daddy here.”

The New Jersey housewife also revealed back in March that she’d divorce Joe if he did, in fact, get sent back to Italy and has no interest in maintaining a long-distance relationship.
