Is Bethenny Frankel open to making a return to The Real Housewives of New York City for a future season?
While attending an Emmy Awards afterparty over the weekend, Bethenny addressed Andy Cohen‘s recent comments about her potential comeback to the show and offered an update on her relationship with Bravo TV.
“You know, I love Andy,” Bethenny told Entertainment Tonight. “I love Bravo. They took out an ad yesterday to congratulate me on everything BStrong is doing, so it’s great to have good relationships and I will always be a member of the Bravo family.”
During an episode of his Sirius XM Radio series, Andy Cohen Live, earlier this month, Andy shared his thoughts on Bethenny’s sudden exit from the show and said he was hopeful that she would one day return.
“We are much like the mob, you can’t get out. And I, I do hope and think that she will come back sometime,” he explained.
“She’s so still a part of everything that’s going on, that you almost could see her dropping in and it’s like, ‘Oh my god! OK. Here’s Bethenny, Bethenny’s at a party,’” Andy continued. “Or, Bethenny’s on this trip. You know, you never know. So, I look forward to her in any capacity on the show.”
Although Bethenny won’t be featured on RHONY season 12, she’s staying busy with her non-profit charity, BStrong, which helps victims of hurricanes and tropical storms. She also has two new shows coming soon.
As fans may recall, Bethenny signed a deal with producer Mark Burnett and MGM Television earlier this year. However, when it comes to her new television shows, it hasn’t yet been confirmed whether Bethenny will be in front of or behind the camera.
“I am… well, watch what happens,” she teased.
While a return to RHONY is far from certain, Bethenny said she’ll forever be grateful for the platform Bravo TV gave her.
“We’re at the Emmys, and it’s about television, and truly, that has given me the platform to save lives and bring aid to countries all over the world who are in absolute dire need, who are decimated,” she shared. “So, it’s such a great thing to use something that people might think, you know, is sometimes superficial, when it’s really not. Television has been so good to me, to give me that platform.”
The Real Housewives of New York City will return to Bravo TV next year for season 12.
