Tinsley Mortimer didn’t show up for filming on The Real Housewives of New York City season 12 on Thursday night, and according to a new report, rumors are swirling in regard to her potential exit from the series.
After Tinsley reportedly ditched her co-stars in lieu of spending time with her boyfriend, Scott Kluth, who she reconciled with weeks ago following a months-long split, an insider has suggested that Tinsley appears ready to give up her RHONY role for a future with Scott in Chicago, where he resides.
On November 1, Page Six revealed Tinsley, 44, was supposed to be at the Eventi Hotel in Midtown on Thursday to shoot scenes for the upcoming season with her co-stars, but she was instead enjoying time in Chicago with Scott.
Earlier this week, Tinsley and Scott, who have been on-and-off for the past couple of years since being introduced by former RHONY cast member Carole Radziwill, were seen together at the Big Apple Circus.
Although the couple has not yet announced an engagement, the outlet said that Scott reportedly purchased a ring for Tinsley before asking her to join him in Chicago. That said, when it comes to a potential storyline on the new episodes, sources stated that Tinsley would not be chronicling her supposed engagement to Scott on the series. In fact, she’s said to be ready to put her personal life ahead of her Bravo TV duties.
As most RHONY fans are aware, Scott isn’t a big fan of appearing on camera, even though he met Tinsley on the show, and Tinsley’s co-stars are said to be reportedly convinced that Tinsley is going to be leaving the RHONY cast to focus on her life with Scott.
However, when it comes to making things official, Tinsley has not yet confirmed any plans to quit the series as sources close to the socialite insist she will be involved in “some way” on RHONY and that her future on season 12 is “not black-and-white yet.”
The Real Housewives of New York City season 12 is expected to premiere on Bravo TV sometime next year.
