The Real Housewives of New York City season 12 will reportedly be the last for Tinsley Mortimer.
According to a new report, the socialite is planning to leave the Big Apple after filming season 12. She will allegedly make the move to Chicago to be closer to her boyfriend, Coupon Cabin CEO Scott Kluth, after his reportedly upcoming proposal.
“[Tinsley is] finally getting her happy ending,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly on November 7. “Scott is proposing soon.”
“She is moving for love,” a second source explained. “This is a very happy time in her life right now and everyone is rooting for her and Scott. They have addressed all their issues and no longer want to live without each other. She is very, very happy!”
Tinsley and Scott broke up earlier this year after dating on-and-off since 2017, but they reconciled their relationship last month after spending a weekend together in Toronto, Canada. As fans of RHONY will recall, Tinsley and Scott were initially set up by her former co-star, Carole Radziwill, during the seventh season of the show. Then, the following year, during a June 2018 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Tinsley confirmed she and Scott were taking a break.
“We break up all the time,” she admitted to Andy Cohen. “It’s so hard to be in a relationship, particularly when we don’t live in the same town.”
During RHONY season 11, Tinsley was seen breaking down over her on-again, off-again relationship with Scott and insisting that she would not relocate from New York City to Chicago until she had a ring on her finger.
“I cried a lot about my ex relationship and things,” Tinsley admitted to Us Weekly this past June, “but now that we’re finished and it’s over, I just feel so much more free. I feel great.”
While things between Tinsley and Scott have been “complicated,” to say the least, sources have confirmed to the magazine that in the weeks since Tinsley’s trip to Canada with Scott, she appeared to be completely “smitten.”
