The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador‘s ex-husband, David Beador, got engaged to girlfriend Lesley Cook in Miami on Thursday night.
After about two years of dating, Lesley took to her Instagram page, where she shared several photos of herself and David enjoying the pre-Super Bowl festivities at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and announced that he had proposed.
“Looking forward to eternity with my love. I LOVE YOU LOVE!!!” Lesley wrote in the caption of the first photo of her stunning diamond engagement ring.
Lesley also shared several photos on her Instagram Stories, one of which included a pair of Super Bowl tickets.
Along with a second photo, in which David was seen shirtless, Lesley said, “Today I said YES to the man of my dreams. You complete me!!!”
Shannon and David parted ways in late 2017. In the years that followed, Shannon dated a number of men before going public with her current boyfriend, John Janssen, last summer.
David and Lesley first began facing engagement rumors in June 2018. Then, in November of that same year, Lesley began sporting a suspicious ring on her left hand.
Last April, as David finalized his divorce from Shannon, the mother of his three daughters, an insider told Radar Online that he and Lesley would be tying the knot “soon.”
“David and Lesley are very much still together, and they can’t wait for this divorce to behind them,” an insider explained. “They are going to get married soon, and want to honeymoon in Paris!”
As for Shannon’s future with John, the couple appears to be taking things slow. Recently, Shannon confirmed they were not yet living together, but they were going strong nonetheless.
“I feel a comfort with John that I’ve never felt with anybody. I’ve never been this happy with anyone. So, it’s great. I’m happy and very blessed,” Shannon told Reality Blurb on October 10, 2019.
“It’s crazy. Our kids get along. We each have three. John meeting my kids, me meeting his kids, that meeting together, it was done so organically and there’s a comfort with all of us I think,” she added. “It’s great. We’re really lucky.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return to Bravo sometime later this year for season 15.
