Denise Richards‘ sophomore season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was much “different” than her debut season last year.
During a new interview, Denise opened up about her experience filming season 10 before explaining why she hasn’t yet addressed the ongoing rumors regarding her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville and revealing if she quit filming the new episodes amid production last year.
“There were some things … I had a very different season this season,” Denise admitted, via PEOPLE, to reporters at the Monte Carlo Television Festival’s 60th Anniversary Celebration in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “Last season I had such a great time with all the women… This season I have too, but it’s just been different.”
According to Denise, she “love[s] doing the show” and is “proud of it,” even though she’s been facing some intense rumors over the past several weeks, including reports of a lesbian romance with Brandi that allegedly took place behind the back of her husband, Aaron Phypers, who she married during season nine.
Denise has also faced rumors claiming she quit RHOBH after being confronted about her supposed hookups with Brandi by their co-stars during a trip to Rome, Italy last November.
“I’m still on it, despite different rumors,” Denise confirmed. “Nobody knows about season 11, none of us. But as far as season 10, I’m still filming and very much a part of the show. I enjoy it and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”
As for why she’s stayed mum in regard to her relationship with Brandi, Denise is hoping to save the drama for season 10.
“I like stories to play out on the show. Because if everything plays out in the media, why have a show?” she noted.
After the Daily Mail claimed last month that Denise and Brandi engaged in a months-long affair in 2019, Denise’s rep stated the report “isn’t true” as a rep for Brandi declined the magazine’s request for comment.
“What really happened with Brandi and Denise will play out on the season,” a source said at the time. “There is a lot of she said, she said going on. But it’s going to be very dramatic.”
