Stassi Schroeder has officially confirmed that the swirling news regarding her pregnancy is, in fact, true.
Days after it was reported that the fired Vanderpump Rules cast member and her fiancé, Beau Clark, who she was supposed to wed in Italy in October, were expecting their first child, Stassi released a statement, via her rep, about her baby news, revealing when she’s due and discussing her and Beau’s “next chapter.”
“Stassi and Beau will be welcoming their first child the first week in January and are grateful and eager to begin the next chapter of their lives as parents,” Stassi’s rep, Steve Honig, revealed in a statement to Reality Blurb on June 16.
Stassi’s baby news comes just weeks after she told host Mikalah Gordon on The Morning Beat that she wanted a baby “so bad.”
After admitting that a pregnancy would certainly “derail” her potential October wedding, which has since been rescheduled for October 2021, Stassi said that she felt it was the right time for her and Beau to start a family.
“I just want a baby so bad though [and] honestly, it feels like the right time. If we’re going to continue to be quarantined, it’s like the downtime you take when you’re pregnant,” she explained.
Stassi also addressed a potential pregnancy earlier this year on a Pump Rules: After Show, noting that because she believed Beau wouldn’t be proposing to her before their July 2019 engagement, she began trying to get pregnant.
“I know Beau is my person and the man I want to be with and I want to have a family with, and I’m not going to sit around and wait for him to propose to me for me to do the things that I want to do with him,” she said at the time.
