Andy Cohen Addresses Harry Hamlin's Offensive Swastika Halloween Costume Years After Public Apology From Lisa Rinna, Says Scandal Has Been Beat "to Death" as Fans Claim Double Standard Over Stassi's "Nazi Chic" Photo

Andy Cohen is addressing the offensive swastika T-shirt Harry Hamlin wore in 2015 during a Halloween outing with his wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna, on Twitter earlier this week and some fans weren’t happy about his answer.

Years after the couple dressed up as Sex Pistols singer Sid Vicious and his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, Andy responded to a fan who wanted to know why he wasn’t upset about Harry’s choice of attire before others called out his double standards and mentioned Stassi Schroeder‘s “Nazi chic” photo, which reportedly led to Bravo’s decision to fire her from Vanderpump Rules last Tuesday.

After calling out U.S. Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who disagreed with the idea that anti-LGBTQ discrimination violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in the workplace, Andy was confronted by a fan.

“Hey Brett Kavanaugh – F**k you,” tweeted Andy on June 15.

“Why not have the same reaction to [this]?” a fan responded to Andy’s tweet, along with a photo of Harry and Lisa celebrating Halloween in 2015.

“We beat this stupid Halloween costume to death about 3 or 4 years ago,” Andy replied.

As fans of RHOBH may recall, Lisa offered an apology from herself and Harry on Instagram in November 2015.

It read, “If I hurt you… We were being authentic to the characters of Sid and Nancy for our Halloween costumes. It hurt and angered many of you and we are deeply sorry for that. That was never our intention. We did not mean to offend. With love, Lisa and Harry.”

While Lisa and Harry apologized for his offensive fashion, fans weren’t happy to see that Andy didn’t want to talk about it years later. After all, Stassi was recently fired for similar behavior while Lisa and Harry have continued to appear on RHOBH in the years since their Halloween scandal.

“If Rinna was on #PumpRules she would’ve been fired BUT because she’s on Housewives, Andy protects her,” one fan suspected. “Bravo double standards in full display with that lame tweet excuse from Andy.”

A second fan brought up Stassi’s “Nazi chic” photo and suggested that while she is young, Lisa and Harry should have known better.

“So Stassi taking that picture calling herself a Natzi [sic] was a joke? She is at least in her 20s but Lisa and her man are not , they should know better.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 will return to Bravo on July 8 with new episodes after its three-week hiatus.
