Leah McSweeney‘s salary has reportedly been tripled.
According to a new report, the Married to the Mob founder, who was offered a “pathetically low” pay raise for the upcoming 13th of The Real Housewives of New York City, will be making over triple what she was paid for her debut season, season 12.
On September 23, Page Six revealed that that Leah’s salary has been boosted from $3,000 to $10,000 per episode.
Leah signed with powerhouse agency WME before the deal was made.
As fans may have seen, it was reported earlier this month that Leah was attempting to strong-arm Bravo into paying her double for her sophomore season. However, at the time, an OK! Magazine source claimed the network wasn’t willing to do so.
“Leah is trying to strong arm them into paying her double, putting her on the same money level as old timers Luann and Sonja. However, Bravo is not budging,” the source claimed. They are starting to film without Leah and think she will back down after a few weeks of them not needing her.”
The source went on to reveal that in addition to Leah being granted a raise, her returning co-stars, including Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan, also received a salary bump. As the insider explained, the women all “got the standard wage increase.”
During production on the 13th season, the cast and their film crew will be adhering to strict shooting guidelines and required to undergo multiple COVID tests per week. They will also be quarantining and filming on closed sets with no extras.
“If they are at a restaurant there will be no other patrons,” the insider explained.
As for the new cast member of RHONY, she is described as a 37-year-old Black woman, but her identity has not yet officially been revealed. That said, there have been rumors claiming Bershan Shaw has been spotted filming with the cast around the Big Apple.
