As fans anticipate the new episodes, which are expected to chronicle the ongoing ups and downs of Madison’s relationship with on-again, off-again boyfriend Austen Kroll, the reality star and mom opened her doors to the Bravo cameras for a house tour.
“Welcome to my coastal living space,” Madison told the Bravo Insider as she walked across a doormat that read, “Home is Where the La Croix Is.”
“This house was built in 1935 and remodeled in 2014. So it is pretty old and we’re trying to make it with a little modern twist,” Madison explained.
After opening her front door, Madison showcased a porch on the side of her home before revealing she doesn’t spend much time there because it’s always “way too hot.”
Madison then showed off her living room.
“This is kind of the area where we hang out the majority of the time,” she stated. “My son and I like to play some video games, Mario Kart. The couch isn’t that comfortable so I’ll be getting rid of that pretty soon.”
Walking into her kitchen, Madison admitted that it isn’t exactly her area of expertise.
“[The] only thing I know how to do here is make myself a glass of wine and heat up some mac and cheese. But, other than that, I love the way the marble, everything is. I love the high ceilings,” she noted.
“Here is my bedroom,” Madison continued. “I love the canopy bed because I feel like it makes me feel like a princess but I think I can update that.”
As she entered the master bathroom of her home, Madison joked that the dark location was where “the real magic happens.”
“All the hair and makeup you could possibly think of all goes down right here,” she said.
Moving on to her son’s room, Madison admitted that it doesn’t include many youthful features.
“[It] definitely does not look like a kids room but he’s not mad about it. He’s got a queen-sized bed,” she explained. “More importantly, he has a drum set here. So when he gets a little hissy, he’s banging on that thing for a few hours too long.”
Outside of her home, Madison has what she deemed an “oasis.”
“[It] is just an awesome area to hang out when it’s not summertime, more of the fall situation. But I love it. It’s great,” she gushed.
As for where Madison and Austen stand today, that’s hard to say. However, back in June, during an interview with People TV’s Daryn Carp, Austen said the two of them were “on friendly terms.”
“Madison and I have gone on [Instagram] Live together. I’m not going live and hanging out at Madison’s house because we are great friends. If we weren’t dating… that’s all I’ll say about that,” he teased.
Southern Charm season seven airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
