Vicki Gunvalson is setting the record straight about her relationship with Steve Lodge after a fan on Instagram took notice of the fact that they’ve been spending time apart in recent weeks.
After spending time between her new lake house in North Carolina and California without her fiancé, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star explained why Steve has been missing from her recent social media posts before sharing an Instagram Story that featured the potential season 16 cast.
“Where the hell [did] Steve go?” a fan asked in the comments section of Vicki’s latest Instagram post on December 7.
“He’s at our condo in Mexico until next week,” Vicki replied.
In another Instagram comment, Vicki responded to a fan who said she was “the only reason why I watched the OC housewives.”
“So sad now,” the second fan continued.
“I know,” Vicki agreed along with a red heart emoji.
While Vicki confirmed she would not be appearing on RHOC season 15 in January, just one day before her longtime friend and co-star Tamra Judge did the same, she isn’t opposed to returning to the show. In fact, on Monday night, she shared the names of potential season 16 cast members and asked her online audience for their thoughts.
Although it was no surprise to see Vicki and Tamra at the top of Vicki’s list, it was a bit shocking to see that Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Kelly Dodd, both of whom Vicki has feuded heavily with in recent years, were next in line.
As for the rest of the RHOC cast, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Elizabeth Vargas were completely missing from the list while Shannon Beador was the last name mentioned, behind a couple of “rich newbies.”
“Maybe just as [a] friend?” a message read in regard to Shannon’s potential role on season 16.
As fans of RHOC well know, Vicki and Shannon were close friends for years before suffering a falling out amid the start of production on season 15 earlier this year.
