Erika Jayne Predicts High Ratings for RHOBH Amid Divorce and Legal Drama as Judge Sets Emergency Hearing to Appoint Trustee to Preside Over Thomas Girardi's Assets

The court battle against Thomas Girardi is heating up as Erika Jayne is predicting that  the upcoming season of the RHOBH will have very high ratings amid her legal and divorce drama.

Just days after a judge froze Thomas’ assets and warned his estranged wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika, against selling items that may be deemed as community property, an emergency hearing has been set to appoint a trustee to preside over Thomas’ belongings.

“Emergency motion to to appoint a Trustee to take over Girardi’s assets, Christmas Eve surprise!! Judge to set an emergency hearing date,” attorney Ronald Richards announced on Twitter on December 24.

Hours later, Ronald returned to Twitter, where he confirmed the hearing had been set for January 5.

“January 5, 2021 is the date with briefing between now and then,” he explained.

According to Ronald, the fact that the judge moved so quickly on the motion to have the hearing set is quite telling to the seriousness of the case against Thomas.

“This shows the magnitude of the situation, a judge doing this on Christmas Eve. It is truly remarkable the speed at which the Court’s are responding to address this fraud in the middle of a pandemic between Xmas and New Years, the deadest times in the courthouse by far,” he shared.

Thomas and the RHOBH cast member were sued at the end of last month by a class action firm Edelson PC for allegedly embezzling $2 million from family members of victims of a 2018 plane crash in Indonesia and in the weeks that followed, a number of additional lawsuits have been filed against the attorney.

Thomas is also now facing an involuntary bankruptcy as many of his creditors attempt to collect on the money they are owed. And, if a judge signs off on the involuntary bankruptcy petition against him, Thomas’ legal issues will all be dealt with in one place and his assets will be distributed to those owed.

In other Erika Jayne news, she recently responded to a post shared by her RHOBH cast mate, Lisa Rinna, in which it was noted that their show was the “Most Watched Real Housewives Show in 2020.”

“I’m willing to bet 2021 is even bigger,” Erika teased.
