Bethenny Frankel is getting called out for her past behavior on the set of her canceled talk show, Bethenny.
After the former Real Housewives of New York City cast member was forced to apologize for seemingly minimizing the emotional pain Meghan Markle endured from members of the Royal Family, comedian Jessica Kirson called her out on Twitter as Carole Radziwill reacted to a fan who unfollowed Bethenny amid the backlash. Plus, Chrishell Stause also weighed in.
In a post shared in response to Bethenny’s initial comments about Meghan, Jessica gave details about her experiences with Bethenny on the set of her FOX series.
“I was the warm up comic on your failed morning talk show and you were a total b-tch to me. For months you never said hello and you ordered me around like a dog. One day I walked off set because I had enough of your sh-t. Have a great day!” Jessica wrote, via a screenshot shared by Deux Moi on Instagram.
Bethenny was canceled in 2014 after just one season.
As a number of Twitter users continued to call Bethenny out for her comments about Meghan, many of which were shared prior to the airing of her interview with Oprah Winfrey, Bethenny’s former RHONY co-star and one-time close friend, Carole, reacted in a tweet of her own.
“I just watched the [Meghan and Prince Harry] sit down. Wow. I love how people say Meghan knew what she was getting into…people said the same thing about Carolyn Bessette when she married into the Kennedy family,” Carole said. “You could never know. Meghan said it right the perception is nothing like the reality.”
While Carole didn’t react directly to Bethenny’s tweet, she did “like” a message shared by a fan who said she was glad to have unfollowed Bethenny years ago after witnessing what she had written about Meghan.
“So glad I unfollowed [Bethenny Frankel] and chose team [Carole Radziwill] years ago,” the fan wrote in Carole’s “liked” tweet.
Chrishell, of Netflix’s Selling Sunset, also weighed in.
“Not a white housewife comparing her struggle to Meghan’s. A woman of color joining the Royal Family. It’s the delusion for me,” Chrishell wrote. “Everyone is working overtime trying to silence her. Let us hear what she has to say!”
After questioning Meghan’s intention for her interview with Oprah, Bethenny apologized to those she’s offended.
