Erika Jayne claims to have been in the dark in regard to the millions of dollars her now-estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, owed to past clients, but recently shared court documents seem to prove otherwise.
As Erika maintains her innocence on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it has been revealed that she was served not one but two in-person subpoenas before ultimately failing to show up to her court date.
In a slideshow shared by the Bravo Bone Collector on Instagram, a timeline of events was detailed.
“Where were you on October 22, 2020?” the page asked.
“Erika knew that Joe Ruigomez was owed $11 million because she was served twice (in person) starting in May 2020 to appear in court [and] to produce documents for judge,” the page explained.
As RHOBH fans may recall, Thomas represented the man after he suffered burns on 90 percent of his body as a result of a gas explosion in San Bruno, California. However, when it was time to turn over the money he won, Thomas gave just $1 million to the family and a judgement of $11 million was ultimately placed against him in April 2020.
The following month, on May 22, 2020, Erika received an “Application and Order for Appearance and Examination,” as well as a “Civil Subpoena for Personal Appearance and Production of Documents,” at her former home in Pasadena.
Erika was also served the same documents on September 28, 2020, and she was required to “furnish information to aid in enforcement of a money judgement against [her]” at a court date set for October 22, 2020, at 10 a.m. But Erika didn’t show up and documents revealed she was “out of town and unavailable.”
While Erika’s whereabouts have remained unknown, she did list her clubhouse for $6,995 a month on the exact day of her court date. And, before and after the hearing, she tended to duties related to her role on RHOBH.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
