The Bachelorette season 17 kicked off in early June, and while there are still some episodes to come, fans are already learning some major spoilers, courtesy of blogger Steve Carbone.
As the season’s star, Katie Thurston, who previously appeared as a contestant on season 25 of The Bachelor, which starred Matt James, continues to get to know her suitors on screen, a recent report from Steve has confirmed the 30-year-old bank marketing manager is engaged. The report also revealed which contestants she chose for her final four.
According to Reality Steve, Katie chose Michael Allio, Blake Moynes, Greg Grippo, and Justin Glaze for her final four men after giving Greg her first impression rose during the premiere episode of the show.
Below are descriptions and photos of the four men.
- Michael A., a 36-year-old single dad and business owner from Akron, Ohio.
- Blake, a 30-year-old wildlife manager from Ontario, Canada.
- Greg, a 27-year-old marketing sales representative from Edison, New Jersey.
- Justin, a 26-year-old investment sales consultant from Baltimore, Maryland.
As fans of The Bachelor will recall, Katie, who hails from Lynnwood, Washington, finished in 11th place after being eliminated in week 6.
Although Steve said that he is unsure how the episodes play out after Katie reveals her final four, he said that after seven weeks of investigating and learning about the three men who didn’t make it to the end of the series, he received confirmation that Katie is currently engaged to Blake, who was added to the cast after previously falling for both Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams during the 16th season of the show.

During an appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast last month, Katie said she knew who Blake was before he joined her season of The Bachelorette.
“I will say coming off my season with Matt, people were really shipping [Blake] and I before…So I was a little familiar with who he was and his background,” she admitted.
Still, when he showed up after the third rose ceremony, Katie was “shocked.”
“I was not expecting that at all,” she admitted.
Around the same time, Katie echoed similar statements to Us Weekly.
“I definitely knew who he was, which also Tayshia’s ex-boyfriend! So that’s weird,” she said. “We had chatted before, but usually what happens is, like, the guys will reach out to the women once they’re eliminated and be like, ‘Good luck, you did great.’ Like very generic, you know? And so to see him, I was like, ‘Why is he here?’ Like, ‘What’s happening?’”
During The Bachelorette season 16, Blake first showed interest in Clare, who quit the series to pursue a romance with Dale Moss. He later pursued Tayshia, who gave her final rose to now-fiancé Zac Clark.
The Bachelorette season 17 airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
