Noella Bergener is speaking out about the recent end of her friendship with Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
On the heels of their falling out, which came as Braunwyn was seemingly replaced by Noella on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Noella responded to a series of questions regarding what led up to their estrangement while also reacting to a man who warned her to not be like Erika Jayne.
“Are you and Braunwyn still friends? I saw y’all unfollowed each other…” an Instagram user wondered at the end of last week.
“Nope,” Noella replied.
Then, when the same person noted that Noella and Braunwyn seemed like “such good friends,” Noella admitted that she no longer trusts the former RHOC cast member.
“It was a great friendship till it wasn’t. I’ve wanted to call her so many times since our bad breakup but without trust you have nothing. Wishing you and yours well,” Noella explained.
After seeing that Noella had addressed her falling out with Braunwyn, a couple of additional Instagram users wanted to know if Noelle’s new role on RHOC was to blame and if the end of their friendship would be addressed on the show.
“Will you be sharing what happened on the show or no?” the first person asked.
“Yes,” Noella confirmed.
“Did the relationship end because of opportunities that one of you had that the other wanted to continue with? Jealousy?” asked the second.
“Yes but it was more about lost trust,” Noella clarified.
Someone else advised Noella against flaunting her wealth on RHOC in the way that Erika has done on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, seemingly in a nod to the recent news of her husband James Bergener‘s $5.8 million tax debt.
“Don’t make the same mistake as Erika Jayne by owing millions while flaunting wealth on social. She’s going to get slammed — don’t let it happen to you,” the man wrote.
“Promise to not disappoint,” Noella replied.
As RHOC fans may have seen, Noella reacted to the news of James’ tax debt in an Instagram comment shared days ago, admitting that she learned of her husband’s tax problems from someone else just before she began filming season 16.
“I was just as shocked and disgusted to find out a week before filming…and not from husband,” Noella wrote. “My marriage has been a fight every day since. I am being very open about my journey and looking at every option to settle my husband’s debts.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 began filming in early July.
