The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip is dishing on the show’s drama.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Peacock series’ cast, including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, The Real Housewives of New York City cast members Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps, The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, named Lisa Rinna as the Real Housewives star they would’ve liked to have had with them in Turks and Caicos before answering a series of other questions pertaining to the show.
“Lisa Rinna. She’s so funny with her dancing. I like somebody to get me going,” Teresa explained, via a clip shared by the Real Housewives: All-Stars on Instagram, after being asked who would’ve been the perfect eighth cast member.
According to Ramona, Luann, Kyle, and Melissa, they too would have chosen Lisa, with Luann admitting she’s a “big fan” of the longtime RHOBH cast member. As for Cynthia, she mentioned Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Karen Huger before agreeing that Lisa is “definitely a good time.”
Looking back at their first moments together, the RHUGT cast said it didn’t take long before drama erupted.
“The room selection is what actually sparked the first drama, right out of the gate I was not prepared,” Kyle revealed, via another clip shared by the fan page on Instagram, as Luann named Ramona as a guilty party.
“It was definitely a major part of the show. There was a major discussion and major things happen,” Ramona admitted.
While Ramona didn’t say who her room dispute was with, she said that when it came to her relationship with Teresa, the RHONJ star wasn’t what she expected.
“I really got to know Teresa intimately. I really had no idea anything about her. My opinion completely changed, which you’ll find out why and how on the show,” Ramona teased.
Meanwhile, Teresa confessed that while she had “heard things” about Ramona before venturing to Turks and Caicos, she did her best to go into their relationship with a clean slate.
“I’ve met Ramona out… I’ve heard things about Ramona also [but] I was like, ‘You know what? I’m not going to judge her. I’m going to get to know her for her.’ So you’ll see how that plays out on the season,” she shared.
As for what Melissa believes will be the “most fun part” of RHUGT, she said she loved filming confessionals in real-time.
“That was my favorite thing, where we could just randomly walk into a room and push a button and there’s a round light on you and you just start talking with your drink, and half the time you’re a little tipsy. But you say what you really feel in the moment as opposed to when we do our interviews a couple weeks later. I think that’s going to be the most fun part of the whole show,” Melissa said.
She also enjoyed breaking the fourth wall.
“It was so refreshing to be able to talk about our experiences,” she continued. “That’s kind of what makes this so much different from the regular Housewives franchise is that we talk about the fact that we are on reality TV and how our shows function.”
“We just talked as Kenya and as Luann and as Kyle, girlfriend to girlfriend, without trying to recalibrate in our heads how it’s supposed to sound to the audience,” Kenya added.
The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season one will begin streaming on Peacock on November 18.
