Lisa Vanderpump has just been outed!

Following the release of PEOPLE’s Dave Quinn’s Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It, fans of the Real Housewives are learning shocking behind-the-scenes details about the franchise, starting with a bombshell about the “puppy gate” scandal of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine.

According to excerpts provided by E! News on October 19, the day of the book’s release, executive producers Chris Cullen confirmed Lisa was the guilty party behind a “leaked” report shared by Radar Online.

As RHOBH fans will recall, the report accused Dorit of abandoning a puppy she adopted from Vanderpump Dogs at a kill shelter. However, when asked about a potential leak, Lisa denied any such thing. And when Kyle Richards confronted her about the topic, she slammed her for suggesting she was a liar. Ultimately, after Ken Todd abruptly threw Kyle out of their Beverly Hills home, their friendship came to an end.

Looking back at the shocking events of season nine, Chris said Lisa leaked the story after she lost control of the series’ narrative.

“When Lisa lost the narrative in the show, and she realized that it wasn’t going the way she wanted, that’s when she leaked the story to the press,” he explained.

And after supposedly speaking to the press about Dorit and the situation involving her adopted Chihuahua, Lisa is accused of attempting to convince a producer of the show to call a meeting with the rest of the cast and inform them that they had to believe her claims of supposed innocence — which they refused.

Alex Baskin, who is also the president of Evolution Media, the production company behind RHOBH, explained that Lisa asked the producer to “sit the cast down and tell them they needed to believe her.”

Following the drama, Lisa announced her departure from the show, claiming that being labeled a liar was simply too much for her to deal with and accusing her castmates of 10 months of harassment.

Part two of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 reunion airs Wednesday, October 20, at 8/7c on Bravo.
