Lisa Vanderpump recently accused Kyle Richards of spreading rumors about Thomas Girardi‘s finances at the January 2019 baby shower of Andy Cohen. But does Erika Jayne believe her?
According to a new report, Erika and Kyle took some time off from their friendship after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion was filmed in September. And shortly thereafter, Lisa claimed Camille Grammer had informed her of what Kyle had allegedly done.
“Erika knew that Kyle didn’t spread the rumor about her financial issues at Andy’s baby shower,” a source close to production told Hollywood Life of Erika’s response on October 17.
As the insider explained, Erika “hasn’t spoken to Lisa Vanderpump in years and knew she didn’t say that.”
As RHOBH fans will recall, Camille suggested she had heard from a West Coast housewife at Andy’s baby shower that Thomas was making poor financial decisions. However, at the time, she didn’t share who it was.
Although rumors of tension between Erika and Kyle were fueled when Erika was noticeably absent from Kyle’s daughter Portia Umansky‘s Bat Mitzvah, the source went on to say that Erika would have gone to the event, which was also attended by Lisa Rinna, Sutton Stracke, and Crystal Kung-Minkoff, if she had been in town.
“The only reason Erika didn’t go to Kyle’s daughter’s Bat Mitzvah is because she was out of town,” the source stated. “Otherwise she would’ve been there.”
As for the RHOBH reunion taping, the insider noted that Erika and Kyle had made amends after Kyle was seen laughing about her wild stories regarding Thomas with husband Mauricio Umansky and co-stars Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley.
“Kyle and Erika made up at the RHOBH reunion a few weeks ago. They both talked it out and are happy with where they’re at,” the source shared, noting that while Kyle and Erika “didn’t speak for a bit after filming,” they’re “talking and are totally fine now.”
“Kyle really has always tried to support Erika throughout all of this as best as she can,” the insider added.
