Lala Kent opened up about life post-split on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast.

While joined by her mom, Lisa, and her assistant, Jessica, the Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed how she’s coping with her newfound life as a single mom and hinted that her former fiancé, Randall Emmett, didn’t fit into her personal evolution.

“I take it one minute at a time because a 7-month-old can’t sit around and wait for you to get over sh-t,” Lala explained on the November 10 episode of Give Them Lala… With Randall, via TooFab. “You better keep your f-cking head up and do your thing. So that’s what I do.”

After a series of alleged photos of Randall with two women at a hotel in Nashville began making their rounds on social media, Lala “liked” a post about the film producer being unfaithful and was seen apartment hunting a short time later.

Since then, despite Randall’s apparent attempts to win her back, Lala has been doing her best to adjust to this new chapter of her life.

“I just never thought that my life would be where it is right now and that’s okay. That’s totally fine,” she admitted. “There’s moments where I have pits in my stomach and I’m like, ‘I need God to take over right now because it’s too much.’ [But] you have to be grateful for every experience because what I’ve been through in my life, which people have been through much crazier and traumatic things than I have been through, those people inspire me, who deal with things with grace and they come out on top even with the hand they were dealt.”

Although some might assume that Lala regrets aspects of her relationship with Randall, she said, without mentioning his name, that she could never regret anything that led to her welcoming her first child.

“I look at it and I’m like, ‘I would never have Ocean.’ This independence that I have wouldn’t be here. It just feels amazing,” Lala noted, saying that she feels “so hopeful and happy,” despite having her “moments” at times.

Lala went on to suggest that she’s grown in ways that no longer make it possible to be in a committed relationship.

“If anyone doesn’t fit into your evolution and if your evolution involves you being happy or healthy and there are a lot of pluses to the changes you’ve made and people don’t fit into that anymore, not my issue, I’m burning the bridge,” Lala explained. “And I don’t care if I end up with three people around me. If you’re a quality person, that to me trumps the quantity.”

Meanwhile, a new report by PEOPLE is revealing the makeup mogul was “blindsided” by the end of her relationship with Randall.

“Lala was completely blindsided by all of this and was living in the dark for so long,” a source revealed. “But now she is doing the best she can to keep her chin up and pushing forward with taking care of her daughter and supporting her family.”

Vanderpump Rules season nine airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
