Lala Kent Seemingly Shades Randall's Parenting With Post About Parent "Fighting for Control" As Pump Rules Exes Had "Brief" Interaction During Party Run-In

Lala Kent appeared to shade her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, with a post shared to her Instagram Story on Monday night after celebrating Valentine’s Day with her mom and 11-month-old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett.

After slamming the film producer for allegedly cheating on her with several women and taking aim at his bedroom skills on a number of different occasions, the Vanderpump Rules cast member took to social media, where she shared a telling quote about a parent whose focus was gaining control.

“One parent is fighting for control. One parent is fighting for their child’s safety,” the message, from Danielle Pollack, read.

Hours after that post was shared, Lala, who welcomed daughter Ocean with Randall, who also shares two older daughters with his ex-wife, actress Ambyr Childers, shared an additional post on her Instagram Story, which also came from the One Moms Battle account on Instagram.

“My words and actions are never in alignment. I get a feed off of fooling the family court professionals – it’s like a drug to me. If they paid attention to my actions they would see that I am driven by my need to control you,” Lala’s second quote read.

In addition to Lala’s apparent co-parenting struggles with Randall in regard to their young daughter, Lala has also been vocal about the fact that she is no longer in touch with Randall’s other kids, London and Rylee.

During an episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, earlier this month, Lala was asked about her current relationship with the girls. She sadly revealed that she has not been able to be a part of their lives in the months since she and Randall called it quits.

“The whole situation is sad and I just feel like I don’t want to talk about it. It’s complicated,” she shared.

Lala also addressed her custody arrangement with Randall during a chat with Page Six weeks ago.

In other Lala Kent news, she and Randall reportedly crossed paths publicly for the very first time since their split at Sports Illustrated’s “The Party.”

“It was like they didn’t know they would be at the same party and ran into each other and couldn’t avoid each other because they were in the same VIP section,” a source told Us Weekly on February 15, confirming the encounter was “brief.”

Although things between the ex-couple have been tense in recent weeks, the insider said they were “in good spirits” at the event and seemed as if they “felt obligated to say hi to each other” as Lala enjoyed time with Brittany Cartwright and Randall hung with friends.

“Others definitely picked up on the fact that they were at the same party, especially since their split was so public,” the source added.

Randall’s ex, Ambyr, was also at the event, but she didn’t speak to him or Lala. That said, Lala did give her a shoutout on Instagram afterward, saying that her look was “all too good.”
