Candiace Dillard-Bassett spoke out on both Twitter and Instagram after coming across a report suggesting she’s getting fired from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Potomac ahead of its upcoming seventh season.

After the rumor surfaced on Instagram, via a Bravo fan account, Candiace shared a message with her fans and followers on Twitter before resharing the message on her Instagram page, along with a message suggesting that her haters aren’t getting their way.

“Word on the street is that Candiace Dillard is already getting kicked to the curb by Real Housewives of Potomac producers ahead of season 7,” All About the Real Housewives wrote on Instagram, along with a screenshot of a report shared by Bravo and Cocktails.

In the report, it was said that RHOP producers had grown tired of Candiace’s problematic behavior.

“This problematic east coast housewife who has been on the show for a few seasons now is rumored to not be getting her contract renewed for the new season. With filming slated to begin within the next month or so, producers have finally recognized that the trouble she has caused/has gotten herself [into] has not been a good look for the overall franchise. Along with the added pressure from many opinionated fans calling for her termination, the clear as day fact that she will never own up to her share of mistakes and the high probability that she will continue to cause and get [into] more unnecessary trouble. It is said that producers and the network are already looking for her replacement and are already toying with some ideas, including testing the waters of some new women recommended by the current/already returning cast and the promotion of the ‘friend of’ from last season Watch out!” it said.

Following the sharing of the report, Candiace took note that she was trending on Twitter.

“Wow. I was trending? You all really want me to be that girl, don’t you?” she asked, seemingly giving a nod to the online rumor.

Then, as she shared the same message to her fans and followers on Instagram, Candiace added, “‘……That girl’ as in the one you keep trying to make me. ‘The One.’ ‘The Threat.’ That’s not me, girls. Stop trying to make fetch happen. It’s not going to happen.”

She also encouraged her online audience to keep streaming her debut album, Deep Space.
