The identity of James Kennedy‘s new girlfriend has finally been confirmed.
Amid the Vanderpump Rules star’s romantic getaway in Tulum, Mexico, James’ rep has confirmed he has been dating Ally Lewber since meeting the Belmont University graduated at Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras’ show in Agoura Hills, California, in January, just weeks after announcing the end of his engagement to Raquel Leviss.
“James met Ally recently and they have been dating for a few months now,” James’ rep told Us Weekly on March 15. “He’s super happy and excited to see what the future holds.”
Also on Tuesday, James took to his Instagram page, where he shared a series of photos of him and Ally enjoying Cenotes Casa Tortuga Tulum, where they’ve been staying for the past several days.
“Only the most magical trip I’ve ever experienced in my entire life, here’s a little slide show of todays adventure…. Share the love people! and the positivity! cause life’s too short,” he wrote in the caption of his post, which included an image of him and Ally sharing a kiss.
While appearing on Lala Kent‘s podcast, Give Them Lala, in February, James opened up about his new relationship, admitting that Ally’s friends are fans of the show after Scheana Shay suggested it was Ally who was the fan.
“She was with her friends,” James recalled of his “random” encounter with Ally. “They were fans, they were in the business. And who f-cking isn’t a fan of Vanderpump Rules? [It’s] the best show! I’m not scared of fans. I don’t see the obsession with ‘don’t date a fan.’ I would date all the fans!”
Also during the appearance, James admitted he hadn’t yet decided whether Ally would appear alongside him on Pump Rules if the series is renewed for a 10th season.
“It’s still too early to say, honestly. I do like this girl, I really do. But I don’t know,” he shared. “We’ll see what happens. With this girl, obviously, I don’t want to make the same mistakes. I’ve learned a lot. I’m not just moving on and not thinking about everything I’ve gone through. With her, I’m taking my time.”
