Kyle Richards is sharing where she stands with sisters Kathy Hilton and Kim Richards.
Before reacting to an old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills clip that featured her telling Lisa Vanderpump, “We all have issues,” after her brother’s death, Kyle offered an update on their relationships on Watch What Happens Live as she answered a fan question about whether or not Garcelle Beauvais was truly closer to Kathy, which Garcelle infamously suggested during an episode last month.
“No, that’s not true. We are blood. We are sisters,” Kyle confirmed on the May 11 episode of WWHL. “You can’t compare after doing a reality show together for one season. That was very hurtful, actually.”
After noting that Garcelle “did apologize,” Kyle said she and both of her sisters were recently brought together as they grieved the loss of her best friend, Lorene Shea.
“This whole situation of losing my best friend Lorene has brought… My sisters and I are speaking again because they’ve also known Lorene since she was 7. So life works in funny ways,” Kyle reflected.
While Kyle and Kathy are in a good place today, she admitted to going through a “rough patch” with her oldest sister after filming wrapped on RHOBH season 12.
“We were having a little bit of rough patch after the season,” she noted, going on to speak of Kim. “Kim, we have good and rough patches here and there, as you may have heard. But we’re all… We’re in a good situation right now.”
As for the recently resurfaced clip of her insensitive reaction to Lisa’s brother’s passing, Kyle admitted she was wrong, just as Sutton Stracke was for offering an unconcerned response to the news of Dorit Kemsley‘s home invasion.
“I don’t know. I can’t go back… Obviously, I already apologized for that a long time ago but I can’t go back to that,” Kyle shared. “I was literally in the moment, just left Dorit’s house. I was in the same outfit from leaving Dorit’s. So both not okay.”
Kyle went on to say that Sutton’s reaction to Dorit’s robbery was “really bad” as Dorit, who was also featured on the WWHL episode, admitted her “jaw dropped.”
“And I knew that it was coming but yeah, it was shocking,” Dorit said.
As for her thoughts on Teresa Giudice failing to include Melissa Gorga as a bridesmaid in her wedding, Kyle, who starred alongside the ladies on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, Kyle said she found the snub a bit “funny.”
“Spending time with them like that, their dynamic is very interesting to me,” she noted. “Obviously there was a little [stab] with Teresa and what can I say? I think that’s kinda funny. I’m sorry, girls, I love you.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
