Ramona Singer may have leaked Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas‘ wedding date, time, and location in an Instagram Story earlier this month. But according to the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple, they aren’t upset with her.
As they put the finishing touches on their August 6 event, Teresa and Luis attended last week’s MTV Movie and TV Awards in Los Angeles, where they reacted to the Real Housewives of New York City alum sharing their wedding invitation in an Instagram Story.
“I called her and I’m like ‘Can you please take that down off your story right now,’” Teresa recalled to Entertainment Tonight. “And she’s like ‘Oh my God, what did I do?’ and she was like ‘It was the most beautiful invitation I’ve ever got and I get a lot of invitations.’”
While Ramona intended to simply show off Teresa and Luis’ Lucite invitation to her fans and followers, she actually shared all of Teresa and Luis’ information publicly, confirming that the RHONJ stars would wed on August 6 at the Park Chateau Estate in East Brunswick, New Jersey, at 6:30 p.m.
Still, despite Ramona’s snafu, Teresa and Luis believe it was an “honest mistake.”
Unfortunately, due to the leak, the couple is now having to amp up their security.
“Now I’m gonna have to have extra security,” Teresa revealed.
Throughout the process of planning their wedding, Teresa and Luis have been “very much in it together,” as Luis explained.
“I love his taste,” Teresa stated.
“We love and respect each other and honor each other, and that’s the best thing that we go by,” she continued. “And communication. We have the best communication. That’s really important.”
Although Teresa and Margaret Josephs had plenty of issues with one another amid RHONJ season 12, Teresa and Luis ultimately decided to include her in their big day.
“Maybe, she’s on the list,” they said of her potential attendance.
“Margaret’s a good person,” Luis added.
In addition to Margaret and the rest of the RHONJ cast, Teresa will be including her Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip co-stars, including Kenya Moore, Luann de Lesseps, and Kyle Richards, in her big day. She has also said that her former co-star and longtime friend Dina Manzo will be in her bridal party while sister-in-law Melissa Gorga will not.
As for her ongoing status on RHONJ, Teresa admitted she’s amazed she’s an “OG.”
“I love it,” she shared. “It’s an amazing feeling it feels so surreal. I’m honored to be here.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
