PHOTOS: Pump Rules' Katie Maloney Confirms She's Moving Out of $1.9 Million Home as Tom Schwartz Packs Up and Says Dogs Are "Children of Divorce"

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are moving out of the $1.9 Valley Village home they purchased together in 2019 just before saying “I do” for a second time in Las Vegas.

Just under three months after Katie filed for divorce, the Vanderpump Rules couple took to their Instagram Stories, where Katie shared a video, confirming her moving date, and Tom shared a couple of photos, one of which featured their two dogs, Butter and Gordo VonFriendenheimer, who he deemed “children of divorce.”

“Update… in case you’re wondering… I just live amongst a sea of boxes,” Katie wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story clip over the weekend. “Moving in 2 days.”

Around the time of Katie’s video, Tom shared a photo from his living room, where boxes were piled up in front of his and Katie’s built-in shelving and television.

As Pump Rules fans may have seen, Katie addressed her and Tom’s custody arrangement for Butter and Gordo VonFriendenheimer while discussing the status of their relationship on the May 24 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

“We still do things together,” Katie said. “We have some of the same group of friends, and we have dogs that we’re gonna split custody of… He’s family to me, and I’m always going to love him, so our friendship is very important to both of us.”

Katie and Tom confirmed their split with emotional statements on Instagram on March 15.

“After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage. This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship. Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another’s happiness,” wrote Katie.

Meanwhile, in Tom’s post, he made it clear that the decision to split was not his own.

“Katie [and] I are separating. I’m not quite ready to use the ‘D’ word [because] it’s too painful. Yes my heart aches but I’ll be ok. Not looking to evoke any sympathy here. I’m not the victim. Not gonna write too sad a song. Fully respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst not happy,” he said.
