Kyle Richards is defending herself after not only suggesting that Sutton Stracke‘s miscarriages reveal was “bullsh-t,” but also laughing at Erika Jayne after she shockingly cussed at Garcelle Beauvais‘ 14-year-old son, Jax, telling him to “get the f-ck out” of his mom’s birthday bash.
After insinuating that Sutton was lying about having suffered a couple of miscarriages in a sneak peek at the July 6 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle took to her Instagram Story to explain her comments to Sutton while also revealing where they stand today and addressing her latest drama with Garcelle.
“Hi guys, I wanted to share some things with you about this week’s episode. I have not seen it yet but have seen the clips floating around online. First, let’s address my comment to Sutton,” Kyle began, giving a nod to her suggestion that Sutton wasn’t being honest about her miscarriages during a conversation with Diana Jenkins.
“When Diana was sharing her story about having a miscarriage I was taken aback because I felt like Sutton wasn’t letting Diana have her moment to share what she had just recently gone through. I had obviously had a few drinks and didn’t express myself clearly [and] I was disappointed in the way I handled myself altogether,” Kyle admitted.
According to Kyle, she reassessed the issue the following morning, and after realizing that Sutton was potentially sharing her miscarriage stories in an effort to connect with Diana, quickly extended an apology to her “close friend” Sutton.
“Sutton accepted my apology and we moved on,” Kyle confirmed.
In a couple of additional posts on her Instagram Story, Kyle reacted to another RHOBH sneak peek clip, which featured her laughing about Erika’s antics with husband Mauricio Umansky and co-stars Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley.
“I had not seen what Erika said to Jax in person but was told about it the following day along with some funny moments as well. When I said, ‘It’s not funny, but it’s funny,’ I meant Erika being drunk was funny, but what she said to Jax was not,” Kyle clarified. “I hope you know me well enough by now to know I certainly do not condone speaking to children like that.”
“We are all parents and certainly wouldn’t want anyone speaking to any of our children like that. Until Mexico we had never seen Erika drink like that. So this was new behavior we were seeing. I think while focusing on that the more important issue was being minimized,” Kyle added.
